'The Witcher' Season 3 Teaser: Henry Cavill set to come back as Geralt of Rivia for his last season
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix has some great content on its channel. And while the streaming service is making sure some of our favorite TV shows get renewed for another season, we have some good news for you. This is exciting, especially for fans of Geralt of Rivia who are waiting for Henry Cavill to return to the screens with another season of 'The Witcher'. This will be Cavill's last season on the show as Geralt of Rivia. For a little memory jog, 'The Witcher' first dropped in 2019 and was instantly loved by people as it was Cavill's most-loved character after 'Superman'.
'The Witcher' is about Geralt, a mutated monster hunter, who struggles to "find his place in a world in which people often prove more wicked than beasts." Earlier, Cavill announced that Season 3 would be his last season as Geralt of Rivia and after that, Liam Hemsworth will be taking over the role. Despite the producers being keen on keeping Cavill for a seven-season run, the reveal came days after it was confirmed that Cavill won't be coming back to take his iconic role as 'Superman' as James Gunn and Peter Safran took over DC studios.
