As Jadis Stokes prepares to fire at Rick and Michonne, they quickly jump from the bed and take cover. In a swift turn of events, Michonne grabs a weapon and strikes Jadis in the abdomen.

As Michonne reaches for a gun, Jadis retreats, fleeing into the woods where she encounters a group of three survivors. Offering them food and shelter in exchange for their assistance, Jadis forms an alliance with them.

Meanwhile, Rick and Michonne trace Jadis to an abandoned wooden cabin, only to be ambushed by the trio of survivors.

Their confrontation is interrupted by a sudden influx of walkers, leading to chaos and a struggle for survival.

In the midst of the mayhem, Jadis finds herself once again facing off against the formidable duo of Rick and Michonne.

Michonne is filled with a desperate urge to end Jadis Stokes' life, blaming her for the turmoil that tore her family apart and for continuously obstructing their reunion.

However, Rick intervenes repeatedly, cautioning Michonne about the consequences of killing Jadis.

He reminds her that Jadis' death would attract the attention of the CRM, potentially leading to the discovery of Alexandria and putting their children and community in jeopardy.

When Michonne finally has Jadis at gunpoint, she refrains from pulling the trigger. Instead, she intervenes just in time to save Jadis from walkers closing in on her.

Using up all her ammunition, Michonne fights off the walkers, ultimately saving Jadis from a grisly fate.

Despite their efforts to protect her, Jadis meets her end when she is bitten by a walker, culminating in a dramatic climax in Episode 5.

With Jadis gone, Rick's anxiety heightens as he realizes the need to return to the CRM, destroy any evidence linking to Alexandria, and devise a new escape plan.
