‘The Voice’: Ariana Grande completes team with KCK3, teases Blake with epic mic drop

The trio consisted of sisters namely Kyla, Chelsea and Kaitlyn as they later revealed that KCK3 was the initials of their names

The sixth and the final episode of the blind auditions of 'The Voice' Season 21 aired on Tuesday, October 5, and saw the last round of contestants coming in to try their luck as all the coaches intended to complete their team. The very first sister trio called KCK3 landed on ‘The Voice’ blinds in order to get at least one chair turn and that’s exactly what happened in their case.

The trio consisted of sisters namely Kyla, Chelsea, and Kaitlyn as they later revealed that KCK3 was the initials of their names. The trio absolutely thrilled the coaches with their rendition of Ariana Grande’s hit single ‘No Tears Left to Cry’. However, it was only Ariana who turned around for the trio as all the judges were very clear on being picky as they came close to complete their respective teams.

Ariana Grande completes her team on ‘The Voice’

KCK3 started off their performance by showing off their smooth harmonies as it made Ariana excited especially when the group hit the chorus of her song. The pop star did not waste her time to press the red buzzer and turn her big chair around as she then thoroughly enjoyed their audition.

With KCK3 landing on Ariana’s team, the award-winning singer became the very first one to complete her squad on Season 21 of ‘The Voice’. An elated Ariana then graced the stage to hit a few harmonies in order to celebrate her team getting full. While coming back to her seat, she even mic dropped in front of Blake Shelton which led to quite a few reactions on social media. This is the very first season for Ariana as she replaced Nick Jonas from the previous season.

‘KCK3 coming to save team Ariana’

Social media users logged into Twitter to speak about KCK3 and Ariana completing her team on ‘The Voice’. “@KCK3_MUSICcongratulations on making it to the Voice and team Ariana”, said one user as another posted, “Kck3 ate down. Like nobody touching them. #thevoice” One user claimed, “KCK3 gave me chills!”
 
The next one posted, “kck3 coming to save team ariana” as one person added, “Ariana’s team is full finally omg. It went from her having 1 spot left to her having like 4 then back to 1. It made my head hurt.” Meanwhile, one asserted, “Nope.  No.  Please stop with this duo, trio stuff!  One singer, 4 coaches.  It's simply not fair to solo artists.” One tweeted, “The song and the mic drop in front of blake’s face i’m dying!!!!!” And, another concluded, “Turning off the voice now bc ariana’s team’s full.”

‘The Voice’ Season 21 airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm PT/ET on NBC.
