Singers Jack Rogan and Sabrina Dias from John Legend’s team were up next to battle it out for the knockouts. The second round of the ‘The Voice’ Season 21 battles that aired on Monday, October 18 also saw singers like Hailey Mia going against Raquel Trinidad, Carson Peters stepped up against Clint Sherman, while Holly Forbes locked horns with Wyatt Michael.

Speaking of Sabrina Dias, she was born and raised in Brazil by her parents and later moved to New Jersey. She came out as a lesbian at the age of 22. Jack Rogan, on the other hand, is an 18-year-old crooner who had his singing career started with ‘The Voice’ with no prior experience. If we talk about the latest battle round, both the singers managed to thrill the coaches but Sabrina had a little advantage over Jack as she had more experience in live performances. The young duo belted out Taylor Swift’s recent hit ‘Cardigan’ with an intention to impress the judges namely Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and Ariana Grande along with their mentor John Legend

John Legend picks Sabrina Dias over Jack Rogan

John Legend got his dear friend Camila Cabello to help figure out the performances of the talented contestants. Camila urged Jack to focus on his falsetto despite him being afraid of it. John, on the other hand, told Sabrina the rock edge to her voice was her secret weapon. After their flawless performance in front of the coaches, Kelly shared that she was in love with both of their tones.

Ariana Grande too praised both, adding that it was difficult to pick one out of the two. Blake too chimed in and said it was clear that Jack was giving it his all. He also spoke to Sabrina, saying she had the capability to draw the audience in. Ultimately, it was on John to pick the winner. After much consideration, the ‘All of Me’ hitmaker went for Sabrina as he was in awe of her effortless performance. He added that Jack was still fresh as a performer. Unfortunately, the rest of the three coaches refrained from stealing Jack as he headed back home with disappointment.
