UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: After pitting Destiny Leigh against a seasoned singer like Justin Aaron for the battles round, 'The Voice' fans thought Gwen Stefani was onto something. But the celebrity coach ended up changing everybody's opinion with her final decision that had all the fans hailing as the "right choice."

For the battles round, Gwen picked Mary J Blige's 'No More Drama' as the song for the duo. After a great rehearsal session under the guidance of Gwen and Jamaican rapper Sean Paul, Destiny and Justin stepped onto the stage ready to wow the coaches.

The duo's performance earned them several praises from the celebrity coaches. Even though Blake Shelton and John Legend picked Destiny as their winner, owing to how the 18-year-old managed to rise up to the occassion and deliver a flawless performance, Camila Cabello named Justin as her winner. 

Gwen agreed with Camila when it was finally time for her to pick the winner, as she crowned Justin the winner of the battles round. While Justin left the stage grinning from ear to ear over his victory, Destiny gracefully accepted her defeat and thanked Gwen and the other coaches for giving her the opportunity to showcase her talents. Just as Destiny was about to leave the stage, Gwen used her save lifeline to keep Destiny in the competition, 

Gwen jokingly declared that she couldn't let someone with great nails like Destiny's leave the competition just yet. After watching Gwen save Destiny and give her another chance, fans praised the celebrity coach for being a great mentor.

'The Voice' fans also complimented Gwen for picking Justin as the winner of the battles round. A fan shared, "Best song choice of the night by far.
