LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: What was once cute and witty banter between the newly-married couple/ 'The Voice' coaches- Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are quickly turning into a "squeamish" experience for many fans. The recently aired episode of the NBC singing competition show featured the husband-wife duo constantly turning their chairs for the same persons during the blind auditions, such as Daysia.

After watching Gwen turn her chair for Daysia just seconds after Blake did, and then proceeding to pick a fight with him to get the 17-year-old on her team, fans couldn't help but take to Twitter to slam the couple. Several fans pointed out how watching Gwen and Blake constantly fight with each other was getting very tiring and dubbed the whole thing as "obnoxious".

Who is Daysia on 'The Voice' Season 22?

Despite Gwen and Blake stealing the spotlight with their shenanigans, Ii was hard to miss Daysia's impressive rendition of Patsy Cline's 'Crazy'. The 19-year-old from Leavenworth, Kansas, shared her moving backstory in her introduction package. The teenager recounted how her mother instilled a love for music in her from a very young age. She reminisced about the times when her mother would be blasting Whitney Houston's 'I'll Always Love You' in their car. But everything turned upside down when her grandmother sat her down one day and told her that her mother's boyfriend ran over her mother with his car.

After this tragedy, Daysia and her sister moved to their aunt's place. While living there, her uncle who is an owner of a jazz club joint discovered his niece's singing talent and encouraged her to share her talents with the world. Slowly Daysia began performing at her uncle's club, and soon found comfort and solace in music. Now Daysia is ready to spread her wings and make her mother proud by auditioning for 'The Voice' and showcasing her talents on a bigger stage! Despite winning over blake and Gwen, Daysia decided to join Team Gwen. We can't wait to follow Daysia's journey on the singing competition show.
