From labeling the battle between Benny and Brayden 'boring' to trashing the poor song choice and the judges' decision to crown Brayden winner, fans had a lot of strong feelings about the performance. A fan commented on the show's YouTube clip of the performance with, "Snooze fest to be honest and Benny performed better. I know Brayden is young, but he was straining the whole song only to sound boring. Maybe a better song would have been better for both." "Overall...boring. However, I think Benny is a better singer," added a fan. "Damn the battles have been sooo boring this season!! :(( So far, nothing has impressed me. And the song choices are horrible….," pointed out a fan.

"Woah Blake…what a terrible song choice for these two. Didn’t show case their voices at all, they both had good moments but a lot of pitchiness," observed a fan. "Horrible song choice for these two guys!" seconded a fan. "I wish they picked a different song for these two talented guys to sing. I don't think it highlighted them at all. With that said, I've been waiting for Brayden to perform again. Great job to the both of them," expressed a fan.

"Oooh I’m sooo disappointed !!! After hearing Braden in the blinds, ( and just LOVED him) but also really liked the song he choose !!! It suited him perfect, so I couldn’t wait for what he’s gonna sing next, but Blake this was a bad choice, I never heard it, plus it really didn’t do anything for either one of them!!! If anything Blake could of hurt them? Picking the right song is everything, and if you don’t it might just send you home. For only being 15, Blake should of used that to his benefit with fresh new hits that are playing now!!! Also think that it shows in your performance if your really not all that comfortable with the song your singing? Pretty sure both of them would of shined more if they themselves enjoyed the song. You can’t blame the young singers, but Blake in the other hand he needs to do his homework with his song choices, personally I think he would of been better on Camilla or Gwen’s team because their a lot more hip than Blake!!!!" penned down a fan.

'The Voice' Season 22 airs every Monday and Tuesday at 8/7c on NBC.
