DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, CARIBBEAN: 'The Trust: A Game of Greed' Season 1 stake turned higher as the contestants reached near to bagging a $250,000 cash prize after multiple eliminations, betrayals, heartbreaks and backstabbing. However, the viewers seemed to have enough of Winnie Ilesso's manipulations and game strategies.

In the recent batch of episodes, Winnie got into an icy situation after Jay Patterson left the Netflix show unannounced. Winnie, Tolu Ekundare, and Jay had developed a strong connection and played their game strategies together.

However, Jay's departure left Winnie and Tolu devastated and they assumed that they could be the next person to get eliminated. In their attempt to stay in the house, Winnie and Tolu called Lindsey Anderson out in front of everyone just before the Trust Ceremony.

They accused Lindsey of trying to play both sides and slammed her for whispering information from the opposite side. Winnie and Tolu also called Lindsey 'the biggest snake' in the house and slammed her for controlling all of the eliminations.

Although Winnie was eliminated despite exposing Lindsey in front of everyone, the viewers dubbed Tolu and Winnie 'bullies' for calling Lindsey a 'snake' and a 'villain' of the house.

A social media user wrote, "Tolu and Winnie are such bullies." Another person added, "Lyndsey is not a snake. Tolú and Winnie have lied to everyone from day one." Another critic noted, "Bout time people start realizing that Tolu and Winnie are bullies."

Another internet user penned, "Winnie being voted off the show, was satisfying ...but, Tolu is the real puppet master. She played the victim to get Juelz voted off, despite his selfless choice and how is she calling out Lindsay for playing the game—girl, check the mirror."

Another X user tweeted, "Winnie deserved to leave. Not as much as Tolú deserves to leave but she had to go. Terrible person."

Another furious viewer penned, "Villains don't need to be vilified. Winnie and Tolu have shown to be straight up bullies trying to strong-arm everyone who doesn't agree with what they want. So wouldn't that classify them as the villains? 👀."

'The Trust' contestant Winnie Ilesso accused of 'controlling' Julie Theis

Winnie Ilesso was dubbed as the mastermind behind the previous eliminations and decided to target her next. Julie and Lindsey were at Winnie's side but things changed and they had a major blowup Julie accused her of 'controlling' her.

Winnie had a silver card for the vault where she got an offer that $20,000 from the trust would be given to her unless no one was voted out at the next Trust Ceremony. However, if everyone was safe, then Winnie would go home and leave with nothing.

Winnie shared the offer with Tolu and Julie and noted that they had no choice but to vote out one of the guys. Winnie and Tolu wanted to target Jake but Julie wasn't on board as she was smitten with her co-player.

Julie called the situation 'mean' and left the room disappointed. She said in her confessional interview that she felt like Winnie was trying to 'control' her.

Lindsey Anderson plots to eliminate Tolu Ekundare

After Winnie Ilesso was eliminated, Lindsey Anderson tried to convince Jake Chocolous, Brian Firebaugh, and Gaspare Randazzo to evict Tolu Ekundare. But the boys weren't fully convinced with Lindsey's idea especially after Winnie and Tolu outed her.

In a confessional interview, Brian seemed uncertain about his alliance with Lindsey and said, "Lindsey is just so unhinged at this moment of time." He added, "She’s all pissed off and mad at everyone, evidently. I don’t understand this."

Brian dubbed Lindsey 'paranoid' and later described her as 'volatile'. However, during the Trust ceremony, Tolu and Lindsey voted for each other. Surprisingly, Gaspare secretly decided to eliminate Lindsey and noted, "The devil you know is better than the devil you don't know."
