'The Trust: A Game of Greed': How much money did each contestant get? A look at the cast members who walked away with big bucks
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, CARIBBEAN: 'The Trust: A Game of Greed' Season 1 finale just dropped and it was packed with shocking revelations and turns.
Some cast members of the show received money from the Trust in advance, even if they were sent home before the last episode, allowing them to still leave with cash even if they were eliminated.
Jake Chocholous and Gaspare Randazzo received a handsome sum of $48,600 each as their reward. However, it turned out that Brian Firebaugh, Julie Theis, and Tolu Ekundare surpassed this amount because they had already accepted more lucrative offers in the game.
Tolu was rewarded with a whopping $25,000 as a bonus for accepting the offer in the last episode. This incredible windfall boosted her overall earnings to a jaw-dropping total of $73,600.
On the other hand, Julie opted for a different offer which promised her an extra $15,000 under the condition that the person she had previously cast her vote for was eliminated. As luck would have it, Bryce Lee was indeed voted out, and Julie's bank account flourished with an impressive sum of $63,600.
Not to be outdone, Brian also seized an opportunity to enhance his earnings by accepting an offer, resulting in a handsome addition of $30,000 to his pocket.
In addition to the contestants who made it to the final round, a handful of other individuals from the cast were also fortunate enough to secure monetary rewards. Jay Patterson, for instance, seized an opportunity to claim $25,000, but the condition was that she had to withdraw from the competition, a decision she ultimately made.
Similarly, Winnie Ilesso, despite being eliminated shortly after, was granted a sum of $20,000 as a token of recognition.
Out of the initial group of 11 individuals who began their journey as cast members in 'The Trust: A Game of Greed', a total of seven were fortunate enough to depart with a monetary reward.
Which contestants of 'The Trust: A Game of Greed' did not win any prizes?
Four contestants who took part in 'The Trust: A Game of Greed' left the show with no money in hand.
The quartet consisting of Bryce Lee, Juelz Morgan, Lindsey Anderson, and Simone Stewart, unfortunately, did not receive any financial compensation for their participation in the game show.
How is 'The Trust: A Game of Greed' different from other shows?
'The Trust: A Game of Greed' is different from typical game shows because it focuses on trust, confidence, and intelligence instead of eliminating competitors.
The contestants of the show have a chance to win $250,000, but they must decide if they will share the money equally or be greedy.
The game does not have a set elimination rule, and players can choose to leave anonymously to increase their chances of winning.
To progress in the game, participants must make decisions in The Vault that can benefit the team or themselves individually.
At the end of the day, it all comes down to loyalty, if one decides to stay loyal to their fellow cast members or ends up being selfish and greedy for a large cash prize.
Former CNN correspondent Brooke Baldwin serves as the host of the show.
