Who is Juelz Morgan? 'The Trust: A Game of Greed' star eliminated from Netflix show after failing to gain trust of other contestants
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ladies and gentlemen, the games have begun in 'The Trust: A Game of Greed'. A total of 11 contestants are vying for a grand prize in the brand-new psychological reality competition series and one of them is Juelz Morgan.
Juelz Morgan is a police officer by profession and is 32 years old.
During his time on the show, Juelz concealed his real identity and told his fellow contestants that he was a fitness instructor and stripper.
Right from the get-go, the cop tried to get to know the other contestants.
However, it seems like Juelz failed to gain the trust of other participants and he ended up getting eliminated from the Netflix show in the first episode itself.
After getting evicted, Juelz revealed that he was disappointed by the decision.
What happened between Juelz Morgan and Tolu Ekundare?
Juelz Morgan is one of the two contestants who get picked to pay a visit to the vault.
He and Simone Stewart went to the vault together where the duo was given two offers, the first one was to take 2,500 dollars if someone's cut from the trust, while the other one stated that 5,000 dollars would be added to the trust if they took away the voting power of two contestants.
At the end of the day, Juelz and Simone decided to go with the second option and chose to block the voting powers of two people.
The dynamic duo took away the powers of Bryce Lee and Tolu Ekundare.
When Tolu got to know about it, she wasn't happy at all and felt like it was a calculated decision made by Juelz.
However, the two of them discussed the issue. It looks like Tolu wasn't convinced by the explanation given by Juelz.
Did Juelz Morgan vote out any contestant?
Post his eviction, Morgan said, "I'm disappointed. I didn't vote. Was true to my word."
The 32-year-old went on to say, "I'm scared to see what's gonna happen after I leave. I felt like I was one of the honest people here that could have helped to keep us together, but I couldn't even do that. Honestly, I kinda feel like I failed you guys."
He continued, "Didn't have to be like this. It really didn't we all deserve to go home with something. We really do."
During a confessional, Juelz said, "I mean, If they don't think I'm honest enough, and that's the reason why they chose me, then it would have been interesting to see how it would've played out if I told everybody I was a cop from the beginning, but my reasoning for not doing so still stands."
He further added, "As I see it, trust can only be earned, and apparently I didn't earn anyone's trust. It's not fair, but that's life. Life is not fair and I knew that coming into this. That's all you get from me."
'The Trust: A Game of Greed' Season 1 airs on the streaming giant Netflix.
