Season six of 'The Masked Singer' is proving to be fiery hot, thanks to the massively talented Pepper, who was introduced as a Wildcard entry. This life-sized Pepper puts a smile on everybody's face with not just her bright red costume but also her impeccable vocals. Pepper made her big debut with a jaw-dropping performance to 'Jealous 'by Labrinth. After watching her performance, the judges- Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, Jenny McCarthy, and Ken Jeong, were left completely puzzled guessing the identity of who could be hiding underneath the mask.

Considering some of the reveals from this season such as Tyga under the Dalmatian costume, the legendary Toni Braxton underneath the pufferfish costume, and Larry the Cable Guy behind the Baby costume, it was only natural for the judges to be completely thrown off and scrambling to guess which celebrity was behind the incredibly talented Pepper costume. However, based on the clues revealed, fans are convinced that the pepper could be none other than British singer Natasha Bedingfield. Read on to know why fans think it's Bedingfield underneath the mask.

Clues for Pepper mask

Inb the first clue package for Pepper, the wildcard performer explained why she decided to don the spicy condiment as her costume. She explained how pepper helps bring out the 'naughty side' in her, and that she's always had her own flavor. She also jokingly revealed that she has a bit of a crush on her fellow contestant The Bull. She's later seen holding her phone and breaking out some dance moves with "Chiliwood" written in the background.

The biggest clue was when she revealed how she went viral twice last year while she places an X on a tic-tac-toe board, hinting at Tik Tok. She also explained how the coolest part for her was seeing people take what she did and “add their own flavor to it.” One of the dancers in the background holds a sign which reads "Keep Dreaming". She closes by saying she’s doing this to “strike while the iron’s hot” and to “keep the flame alive.” Pepper also brought out a pair of roller skates after her performance and explained to the judges that you don't need a driver's license to bing roller skates to a party!

During her second appearance on the stage in episode 6, Bedingfield gave a passionate performance to 'No Tears Left to Cry' by Ariana Grande. Towards the end of her performance, a video message by 'Friends' actor Courtney Cox was played.

Is Natasha Bedingfield under the Pepper mask?

Based on all the above clues and the raspy voice of the performer underneath the costume, several fans concluded that Natasha Bedingfield was underneath the pepper costume. The clue about going viral helped many fans guess her identity as Bedingfield's song 'Unwritten' became a viral sensation TikTok after Rony Boyy posted a dance routine to it. Later Bedingfield once again made headlines when she decided to take on the pants-off trend on Tik Tok.

Earlier this year Courtney Cox and Bedingfield recorded an acoustic version of 'Unwritten' which could possibly explain as to why the 'Friends' star popped up on her clue package. The roller skates could be a homage to her song 'Roller Skates'. Although we will have to wait till the unmasking to see if Bedingfield is indeed the pepper, fans however are beyond sure that it is the British singer under the costume.

A fan tweeted, "I’m just finally really watching #themaskedsinger like really really paying attention…the chili pepper is Natasha Bedingfield, right?! I know that raspiness from somewhere in my high school days!!!" Another fan wrote, "Natasha Bedingfield is amazing as the pepper, She sounded incredible #TheMaskedSinger ." "The pepper is superly giving me Natasha Bedingfield viiiibbbes!!! #TheMaskedSinger," added a fan.
