Who is the baby on 'The Masked Singer'? Fans call giant costume 'nightmare fuel'
Generally, babies are associated with being cute but the baby on 'The Masked Singer' was anything but cute
Season 6 of 'The Masked Singer' gave us the first human costume! Up until now, the show only featured either nature-based or abstract costumes but surprisingly never any human-related costumes. So while everybody was excited to see the costume department's take on a human-themed costume, their excitement quickly went out of the window as soon as they laid their eyes on the humongous baby costume.
The giant baby costume with its one prominent golden lock of hair and a single tooth and huge blue eyes managed to freak out not only the judges- Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, and Jenny McCarthy but also fans. Nicole openly wondered what the costume department was doing during summer to come up with such a scary costume. Generally, babies are associated with being cute but the baby on 'The Masked Singer' was anything but cute.
The baby was introduced as the second wildcard entry of the night after the adorable and furry hamster. The newborn in diaper wasted no time in doling out some clues for the audience and judges to help guess his identity. The first thing that stuck out about the baby aside from his humongous size was his very distinct accent. The baby then went on to reveal that he was part of the baby rat pack and is famous for throwing punches and getting his hands dirty while in action. Then the cameras gave us a peek of a movie marquee, which had 'Blockbuster Hit starring Baby' written on it.
The baby also revealed that he has some award-winning albums and radio play, the album was titled 'Rattle & Roll'. But the biggest clue yet was when he shared that he replaced Arnold Schwarzenegger in a film. He joked that the whole world is his giant playpen with a snippet of him standing near the White House. He then proceeded to perform 'You’re the First, the Last, My Everything' by Barry White. Despite his smooth voice and pretty impressive performance, fans still labeled the costume as scary.
A fan tweeted, "THIS GIANT BABY IS SCARY #TheMaskedSinger." "The Baby is nightmare fuel. #TheMaskedSinger," wrote a fan. Another fan commented, "I would like the Baby eliminated immediately so they can't haunt me in my dreams thank you #TheMaskedSinger #MaskedSinger."

Who is baby on 'The Masked Singer'?
We got another set of clues when baby's locker clues were revealed as part of the School Night special episode. In the locker clues, we got a peek of the baby's report card which reveals that he failed his driver's education. Based on White House and action films clue Ken guessed that it could be Will Smith hiding underneath the costume or Hugh Jackman owing to the accent. Jenny thought it could be Vin Diesel while Robin believed it could be Chuck Norris.
However, fans have an entirely different guess when it comes to which celebrity is under the baby costume. Based on the clues and his performance, many fans are convinced that Daniel Lawrence Whitney aka Larry the Cable Guy could be under the mask. A fan shared, "Just rewatched the “Baby” performance on #TheMaskedSinger… 100% certain it’s @GitRDoneLarry. I know that voice from the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.." Another fan pointed out, "#TheMaskedSinger Baby is Larry the Cable Guy. He replaced Arnold Schwarzenegger in Jiggle All The Way 2." "The Baby is Larry the Cable Guy on #TheMaskedSinger Replaced" Schwarzenegger in Jingle All the Way 2 and was in the blockbuster series Cars. #maskedsinger," added a fan. Another fan observed, "The baby on #TheMaskedSinger is definitely #LarryTheCableGuy! Failing driving test (Cars reference), Jungle All the Way 2 (Arnold reference… just saying!."
