LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In the latest episode of 'The Boys' Season 4, titled 'The Insider', A-Train confesses to being the leak, deeply hurting Homelander, the longest-serving member of The Seven.

When Homelander confronts Sister Sage, she admits to knowing about it but not telling him, leading to his fury and immediate firing of her.

Sister Sage retaliates, suggesting there's one person Homelander can never defeat without her, before storming out and dropping a notebook with Queen Maeve on the cover.

Could Queen Maeve be the only person Homelander cannot defeat?

Is Queen Maeve really the only one who can defeat Homelander?

In 'The Boys', Queen Maeve is often seen battling alcoholism but is reputed as one of the most powerful Supes globally, rivaling even Black Noir and Homelander.

When faced directly by Homelander, she boldly charges at him with a sword, despite it being just a prop. This gives Homelander an opening to fatally strike her.

In her prime, Maeve might have had a chance against Homelander before her skills and reflexes were dulled by constant drinking.

Her mysterious connection, hinted at by Sister Sage, suggests a potential Achilles' heel for the formidable Supe. As Homelander's former closest ally and a key figure within The Seven, Queen Maeve's role may have become crucial in opposing him.

She could have revealed deeper weaknesses or secrets that might have changed things in earlier episodes that we don't know of yet. The unfolding narrative promises to reveal more about their intertwined destinies and the limits of Homelander's invincibility.

But the future is yours to wait and find out if she really has what it takes to beat, or even kill Homelander.

Sister Sage always carried her notebook since joining The Seven. It's her tool for jotting down ideas and strategies to help Homelander's goals of world domination. Being the smartest person on Earth, it's essential for her to have it handy.

Perhaps she anticipated A-Train's betrayal and it was part of her plan, as she hinted to Homelander.

Leaving the notebook behind was deliberate; it might contain her master plan for him to discover. Perhaps she wanted him to realize everything was going according to her scheme.

Queen Maeve might be on the cover simply because she's a Supe and a well-known figure in her own right.
