In the Season 3 finale of 'The Boys', titled 'The Instant White-Hot Wild', Homelander took his son, Ryan, under his wing while tensions escalated between his supporters and Starlight believers.

Kimiko regained her powers with Compound V, and Homelander killed Black Noir for hiding Soldier Boy's true identity. Butcher's plan to take down Homelander led to a brawl between him and Soldier Boy, resulting in Maeve losing an eye.

Despite Butcher breaking his code to save Ryan from Soldier Boy's explosion, Homelander escaped with his son. The finale revealed Butcher has only 18 months to live due to V24 consumption. Meanwhile, Victoria Neuman, the show's antagonist, becomes a vice presidential candidate.

Homelander's season-ending spectacle introduces Ryan to his supporters, but violence erupts when a Starlight follower hits Ryan with a can. Homelander's reaction wins over the crowd, suggesting Ryan may share his father's dark tendencies.
