Both ladies had previously desired Clayton Echard's hand in marriage, but Gabby's Grandpa John had quite a few opinions about Clayton. Fans believe Grandpa John should be brought in to fix the current season of 'The Bachelorette', which is experiencing the most shocking twist and turn ever. With Erich Schwer being the only person remaining for Gabby, and Grandpa John having seen him before, it seems sensible for him to gauge the situation.

Gabby Windey may be torn about her role as 'The Bachelorette' but fans believe that Grandpa John is the grandpa America requires. When Gabby was fighting for 'The Bachelor' Clayton Echard's heart, fans of the show met (and fell in love with) Grandpa John. Why are fans calling for Grandpa John at the end of the season?

Gabby has struggled as one of the show's co-leads this season, and while she has so much love to offer the right person, her anxieties and personal tragedy have her trapped in a destructive cycle of self-doubt. On the show, she told Erich Schwer that "people want to see the Rachels because she's easy," alluding to her co-star Rachel Recchia. Gabby wanted him to know she comes with baggage. This is the result of a lifetime of hurt caused by a difficult childhood relationship (and a non-existent one) with her mother.

Fans were ecstatic when 'The Bachelorette' defied precedent by inviting Grandpa John back for Erich and Gabby's week 3 date. Gabby needed her granddad since the men pretty much ignored her when she came to visit. He showed up after Clayton's final rose ceremony, and Gabby's bond with her grandfather is clearly important to her. Gabby and Grandpa John are regarded as a hilarious duo, but in week 3 of 'The Bachelorette', he stole the show, leaving fans even more smitten by Gabby's greatest fan.

Clayton, according to Grandpa John, is "full of sh*t," and he warned Gabby about it. His most important piece of advice to Gabby was to "think before taking the final step." Fans are eager to hear Grandpa John's opinion of Erich because he is the last guy standing for Gabby. In addition, after seeing the preview clip for the upcoming episode, in which Gabby is shown breaking down several times and stating, "I don't want to do this anymore. I want to leave here," viewers believe Grandpa John is the only one who can resolve the situation.

As Granpa John makes a quick appearance during the preview for the upcoming episode where he says he loves Gabby and wants the best for her, fans can't seem to contain their excitement. One fan tweeted, "THIS MEANS WE GET TO SEE GABBY AND ERICH WITH GRANDPA JOHN AGAIN NEXT WEEK #thebachelorette."

Watching Gabby break down in front of the camera, a fan wrote, "Somebody needs to get Grandpa John to Mexico ASAP!!! #TheBachelorette #bachelorette."

Another fan tweeted, "This one hurts, why do all these moments hurt so bad? Where is Grandpa John when you need him? #TheBachelorette."

Hoping Grandpa John would be able to fix the mess for Gabby, a fan quipped: "Grandpa John on his way to Mexico to fix this mess #TheBachelorette."

Fans also believe Grandpa John wouldn't be happy seeing his little girl in such a sticky situation, as one wrote, "Grandpa John watching: #TheBachelorette."

The first part of the finale, in which Grandpa John is supposed to return, will air on September 13, and the second part will air on Tuesday, September 20, 3033 along with the anticipated 'After the Rose' special.
