LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Grant Ellis, recently announced as the main star of the upcoming 'The Bachelor' Season 29 after his elimination by Jenn Tran on 'The Bachelorette' Season 21, is already attracting attention. Sydney Gordon, who previously appeared on Joey Graziadei's season of 'The Bachelor,' has publicly expressed her strong interest in joining Grant’s season of the popular dating show. In a newly released video, Sydney sends a text message to her manager, urging them to secure her a spot in Season 29 of 'The Bachelor.' The video features the following text, "Me texting my producer to get me in as a castmate bc Grant was announced as the bachelor." “@Grantellis__ are insufferable blonde women your type?” she wrote.

We believe that Sydney may not be the ideal life partner for Grant Ellis, as he is searching for someone who embodies authenticity and sincerity. Grant desires a relationship with someone who is genuinely true to themselves and others. It appears that Sydney might not fully align with this particular aspect of his expectations. Given Grant's emphasis on finding a truly genuine partner, it seems that Sydney may not be the most suitable match for him in his quest for a soulmate. During his guest appearance on Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt's 'Happy Hour' podcast, part of the Bachelor Nation series, Grant expressed that he is seeking someone who genuinely cares about others and possesses a compassionate and empathetic nature. "I want somebody who has a heart for other people, somebody who's not self-absorbed, somebody who is affectionate, who's kind. Obviously a beautiful woman, but I'm super open in this process, because I know that -- just through life experience -- that sometimes, the best things come in the most unexpected ways,"' he shared. Sydney was labeled as the villain of 'The Bachelor' Season 28, facing significant criticism for her treatment of the beloved 'Bachelor Nation' contestant Maria Georgas. The tension arose from Maria's reaction to Madina Alam's expressed insecurities, which sparked ongoing conflict and controversy. As the season progressed, viewers and fans voiced their disapproval of Sydney's actions, further cementing her role as the season’s villain.

What happened to Sydney Gordon on ‘The Bachelor’ Season 28?

Sydney Alina Gordon, a 28-year-old vintage store owner from Rhode Island, appeared on the 28th season of 'The Bachelor' but was eliminated in week 4. Although her time on the show was brief, Sydney's experience centered more on her interactions with the other women than on her relationship with Joey.

Introduced in the season premiere, Sydney appeared as an eccentric yet kind individual, excited to connect with Joey after following his journey on 'The Bachelorette' Season 20. Initially, she and Joey got along well, allowing her to make it through the first two rose ceremonies.

However, tensions arose when Sydney began feuding with Maria over comments Maria made about Madina's insecurities related to her age. Sydney started targeting Maria, sharing misleading information about her with Joey. This behavior suggested that Sydney was more focused on creating drama than on building a relationship with Joey. Ultimately, during a two-on-one date with Maria, Joey chooses to keep Maria, leading to Sydney's elimination.

‘The Bachelor’ alum Sydney Gordon accused producers of 'bad editing'

Sydney Gordon, a contestant from 'The Bachelor' Season 28, has accused the show's producers of giving her a negative portrayal on ABC show. She feels she was unfairly edited to appear as an instigator. Despite being eliminated by Joey Graziadei in week 4, Sydney has faced criticism for her treatment of fellow contestant Maria Georgas, particularly regarding Maria's response to Madina Alam's insecurities

On Instagram, Sydney addressed the backlash by attributing her negative portrayal to the show's editing. She expressed a desire for viewers to have seen more of her interactions with Joey rather than the external drama. One user wrote, “I wish you had focused more on Joey this season but I also realize the power of editing. Maybe see you again on TV,” to which she responded, “I wish you actually got to see me with Joey."
