Thai star PP Krit's graduation gifts include GOT7 Jackson, NCT Lucas' standees, fans say 'mood'

K-pop and the Thai entertainment industry cross paths quite often, from GOT7’s Bambam (who is from Thailand himself) teaming up with F.Hero on multiple occasions to Thai idol actor Mew Suppasit collaborating with ‘OST King’ Sam Kim. The K-pop music award show Asia Artist Awards 2021 had also invited and awarded Thai actors and singers Bright Vachirawit and Win Metawin of '2gether' and 'F4 Thailand' fame. And now, PP Krit has shown his love for his K-pop biases GOT7’s Jackson and NCT’s Lucas.

PP Krit is a singer and actor who reached new heights of global fame after he starred in the critically-acclaimed Thai BL drama series ‘I Told Sunset About You’. Back in 2021, he had shared that his favorite K-pop idols were NCT’s Lucas and GOT7’s Jackson, which led to his co-star Bilkin teasing him about it. Fans find PP’s love for K-pop endearing and so decided to get him the best graduation gift. On March 17, he had his graduation ceremony to which fans brought life-size standees of Jackson and Lucas.

Fans bring Jackson and Lucas’ standees

PP Krit is an all-rounder as he is a talented actor, singer, model, and now a graduate, as he majored in economics from Kasetsart University. During his graduation ceremony, he and international fans were pleasantly surprised as Thai fans decorated the university with standees of PP, GOT7's Jackson, and NCT's Lucas. PP had the time of his life as he jokingly caressed Lucas’ standee and took photos with Jackson’s. During the ceremony, he smoothly picked up Jackson’s standee twice as if he wanted to take it home but unfortunately was stopped by his security both times.

‘The taste’

Fans found the moment adorable as they took to Twitter to tweet about it. One joked, “Pp taking a jackson standee and not wanting to leave it behind issa MOOD.” Another tweeted, “STFUNFJDDK PP KRIT DEADASS CARESSED LUCAS' STANDEE WHILE WALKING I CANNOT DO THIS.” One found PP walking with Lucas’ standee relatable, “Oh we're in the same boat bro. pp is me.” A GOT7 fan added, “Pp president of jackys' fanclub.” With PP taking photos with Lucas and Jackson’s standee along with Bilkin, the co-star he was paired up with in his drama, one fan said, “You got all you wanted, right.”

Another joked, “Billkin : babe i got you a porsche pp : okay now get me the jackson standee.” Those who found out that PP’s favorite idol is Jackson commented, “PP IS A JACKSON WANG STAN??? THE TASTE.” Another said, “Whoever it was that took Jackson away from PP may your beer be always warm and your chicken unseasoned HE WAS SO HAPPY.” One fan added, “Me when someone brought bkpp standee to my special event:.”
