We previously had K-pop singers branching out as artists wanted recognition from other industries and a chance to meet their international fans. And now, thanks to the Hallyu Wave, K-pop has become a sought after music industry. Artists and brands from all over the world are getting into K-pop and collaborating with talented idols and K-pop groups. Thai rapper F.HERO dropped viral hits in collaboration with Stray Kids’ Changbin and GOT7’s Bambam who is from Thailand himself. We also had actors and singers Bright and Win of the BL ‘2gether’ fame participating in South Korea’s Asia Artist Awards, winning an award and interacting with Korean fans. Before them, we also had the Thai idol Mew Suppasit attending and performing at the Asia Song Festival 2021 organized by South Korea’s culture ministry.
