'RHOC' star Tamra Judge claps back at haters with her 'opinion' as she returns to film Season 18 confessionals
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: We eagerly anticipate the return of 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' as the weather changes. In her latest Instagram post, Tamra Judge assures viewers that there will be plenty of action after a few lackluster years, as the show embarks on its 18th season.
Tamra is one of the 'RHOC' cast members who typically comes to mind, alongside Vicki Gunvalson. During her 'RHOC' Season 3 premiere, fans discovered more about her union with Simon Barney and her son Ryan Vieth.
Tamra has become a central figure in the franchise, largely due to her willingness to share personal struggles, including issues surrounding her marriage, divorce, business ventures, and custody battles.
In addition to opening up about her lowest moments, Tamra has also showcased her positive and lively nature through various cast outings, such as her Mexican Bachelorette trip, or her enjoyable moments with her "Tres Amigas," Vicki and Shannon Storms-Beador.
On Friday, May 24, Tamra took to Instagram to share some snippets from the sets of the Bravo show. She can be seen prepping up for filming confessionals (hands down one of the best parts of The Real Housewives franchise), where viewers usually come across goldmine moments.
Hinting a clap back at haters, Tamra captioned her post, "My 14th season and I’m still giving my OPINION." She can be seen wearing a purple dress for her confessionals in 'RHOC' Season 18.
Despite being dismissed from 'RHOC', Tamra continued to voice "HER OPINION" on the podcast 'Two T's in a Pod', which she co-hosted with Teddi Mellencamp, an alum of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'. The podcast recaps both past and present Housewives episodes, as well as any news from the Bravo universe.
During her hiatus, Tamra gained a fresh perspective on reality TV, observing housewives from an outsider's view. This heightened awareness likely contributed to her successful return for Season 17. However, despite her newfound poise, she couldn't contain her excitement and occasional flinches when facing the cameras.
Why was Tamra Judge fired from 'RHOC'?
Regarding Tamra's termination, some accounts contradict each other. Numerous media sources reported that Tamra and Bravo were at odds about money.
The theory that Tamra was no longer performing for the audience and that Bravo only wanted new faces in front of the cameras is more frequently acknowledged.
Tamra Judge teases an 'epic' 'RHOC' Season 18
The formal filming of Season 18 has wrapped up, and Tamra hinted on her podcast, 'Two T's in a Pod,' that the upcoming season will be "epic." Fans are hopeful that this hint suggests the return of the Tamra they adored.
Alexis Bellino's reconciliation with Heather Dubrow in Season 17 is anticipated to contribute to the nostalgic atmosphere that fans cherish in 'RHOC.' Not only did Alexis extend apologies, but she also shifted allegiances due to her strained relationships with her lifelong closest pals, Shannon and Vicki.
Does this mean that, for her to return to herself, she had to let go of that, friendship? Fans will have to wait until the program returns later in the year to find out.
Tamra Judge claims 'boring' Lydia McLaughlin’s comeback to 'RHOC' fell flat
During a May 7th episode of 'Two Ts in a Pod', an audience member phoned in, curious about Tamra and Teddi's stance on former "Wives" rejoining the program. Tamra speculated that while some viewers might appreciate the "nostalgia" of their return, not every alum is suited for it.
Tamra continued, “It’s got to make sense. It can’t be a former Housewife that was on, and she got fired because she’s boring.”
Tamra mentioned a few recent comebacks she was here for before moving on to the shadows. Given the tumultuous dynamic between Alexis, John Janssen, and Shannon, she felt that Alexis's return to filming for 'RHOC' Season 18 was logical.
Porsha Williams' return to 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' is something Tamra is also happy about. Next, return to the shade.
The caller expressed dissatisfaction with Lydia McLaughlin's second stint on 'RHOC.' Glistening In Season 8, Lydia made her debut on the program, and in Season 12, she returned for more. Tamra wholeheartedly concurred. "[Lydia’s return] was a HUGE flop. And then what happened? She was gone again."
Lydia had already discussed how "mean" the other ladies were behind the scenes, so there was very little chance that she would ever return. Did Tamra entirely forget about Lydia's "Balls Voyage" party celebrating her husband's vasectomy, or about her sad Charlie Chaplin drag outfit from Season 12?
Yes, we think we all did.
