'RHOA' star Porsha Williams takes dig at ex-husband Simon Guobadia's 'homeless' comment
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: The 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star Porsha Williams' ex-husband Simon Guobadia doesn't have a valid green card. However, the Bravo star recently took a dig at her estranged husband after he claimed to be broke.
Simon recently wrote on his social media, "Would you rather cry homeless in a Rolls Royce or in a Honda Civic?" His post was a shade on Porsha after she went live from her Rolls Royce which Simon claimed that she doesn't have. However, Simon's latest post was shared on The Shade Room page and Porsha took to the comment section to call out her ex-husband.
She commented under the post, "Valid Green card or Debt free?! Simon❤️" Porsha previously tried to have his application transition his green card to US citizenship in 2016 but got denied. He was unfortunately rejected again in 2020 and 2022.
Porsha Williams files emergency to film 'RHOA' in Simon Guobadia's home
Simon Guobadia prohibited Porsha Williams and 'RHOA's production from filming in his house. Porsha accused him of restricting her expansion of career and earnings. However, the Bravo show star took the matter to court and filed for an emergency order to film in his house.
According to the recent documents, Porsha has served Simon the emergency order request through email to his lawyer. She notifies him that his estranged wife has planned to fight him on the issue as Season 16 production would soon kick-off.
Simon Guobadia claims his kids are 'homeless'
'RHOA' star Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia are in the middle of a messy divorce. However, Simon has been using his social media to slam his ex-wife Porsha. In a recent post, he claimed that his kids are homeless. He wrote, "I would like to publicly thank the mother’s of my 3 minor children who have stepped up to provide cover for our minor children."
Simon explained, "Seemingly, everyone wants to focus on everything but what’s important in a family; especially when it comes to children and co-parenting." He added, "I have had joint physical custody of my kids for 5 years. Those boys are in my home 2 weeks out of the month."
Porsha's ex-husband further noted, "All 3 kids are currently displaced. I would like each and every one of you, especially those with kids, pray for me and my family. They deserve consideration as well."
Why did Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia split?
'RHOA' ex-couple Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia exchanged vows in November 2022 in a Nigerian traditional native law and custom ceremony followed by an American ceremony in Atlanta. However, they parted ways just 15 months after the marriage.
Both Porsha and Simon had cited safety concerns and assault accusations against each other while filing for divorce. Simon claimed that Porsha brought an armed gunman to their marital home. He also claimed that Porsha along with her mother and her mom's boyfriend made a "forcible entry" into the marital home, disengaged security cameras and "tampered with items and evidence."
