'Succession' Season 3 Episode 5: Fans say time for Shiv to 'wake up' and join Kendall

Although Shiv did save the day, Logan was mighty ticked with her decision of giving a fourth seat

It was a humdinger of an episode of 'Succession' Season 3. There were fireworks all over and if there was one sibling that was troubled the most, it had to be Sarah Snook's, Shiv Roy. In a bid to from losing the company if came to a vote, she threw a major hail mary by offering Sandy (Hope Davis) the fourth seat if Waystar can have one that she would take. This though didn't sit well with Logan (Brian Cox) who was pretty much out of it with UTI and flatly refuses to admit there was a win.

This had Twitter debating whether Shiv should even consider being with Logan despite her being made President and living up to the title with a win that's made life relatively easy for the Roys. "Gonna need Shiv to wake up and see that her dad is always gonna hate her and she needs to jump ship to team Kendall #Succession," read one of the tweets. This was seconded by another who wrote, "I'm not even mad at Logan for yelling at Shiv and not giving a damn about the fact that she stepped up when he was unwell. She deserves it for picking his side. #Succession #SuccessionHBO"

For some, this was deja vu as to what happened with Season 1 between Kendall and Roy. "Logan's ire with Shiv's decision is so reminiscent to his response to Kendall and the debt issue in season 1. That "it's you now, shiv" must be haunting her. I know it #SuccessionHBO #Succession," a fan remarked.

'Succession' Season 3 airs Sundays at 9 pm ET on HBO.
