The famous dance competition 'So You Think You Can Dance'  is set to return with its brand new season in May with new judges after nearly three years off the screen. This season, highly trained dancers between the ages of 18 and 30 will perform in a variety of dance forms, including contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, animation, breaking, and more. Those chosen to advance to the SYTYCD studio will train with world-renowned choreographers and compete in a variety of genres each week, with brand-new twists and turns added to the competition each week.

'So You Think You Can Dance' has won 71 Emmy Award nominations and 17 Emmy Award wins over the course of its 16 seasons, including Outstanding Choreography, Outstanding Costumes, and Outstanding Lighting Design. Read on to see who will star in this year's show.

Cat Deeley (Host)

Catherine Elizabeth Deeley is an English actress and television presenter. She presented the ITV children's show 'SMTV Live' and its spin-off chart show 'CD:UK' from 1998 to 2002, for which she won a BAFTA Children's Award in 2001. She presented the BBC talent show 'Fame Academy' in 2003 and then became the host of the talent show 'Stars in Their Eyes,' which she hosted until 2005. Deeley has hosted 'So You Think You Can Dance' in the United States since 2006, for which she has got five Primetime Emmy nominations. Deeley has been a supporter of the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children in London since 2003. She was selected as a UNICEF UK ambassador in December 2009.



 

Judges

Stephen Boss 

Stephen Laurel "tWitch" Boss is a choreographer, actor, television producer, and television personality.  He finished second in the American version of 'So You Think You Can Dance' in 2008. He has been a co-host and sidekick on' The Ellen DeGeneres Show' since 2014. He also appears as a sidekick to Ellen DeGeneres in 'Ellen's Game of Games'. On Freeform and Disney+, he and his wife, Allison Holker, have presented Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings since 2018.



 

JoJo Siwa

JoJo Siwa is a YouTuber, singer, and dancer.  She is well known for her appearances on 'Dance Moms' alongside her mother, Jessalynn Siwa, for two seasons, and for her singles "Boomerang" and "Kid in a Candy Store." Siwa's Youtube page, "Its JoJo Siwa," has daily videos of her life. In 2020, she was included in Time's annual list of the world's 100 most influential people.



 

Matthew Morrison

Matthew Morrison is an accomplished actor who has been on theatre and screen. He is most recognized for his roles in Broadway and off-Broadway shows, notably his Broadway performance as Link Larkin in 'Hairspray' and his role as Will Schuester on the Fox television show 'Glee' (2009–2015). Morrison signed with Adam Levine's 222 Records in 2012, and his main performance as Fabrizio Nacarelli in the musical 'The Light in the Piazza' earned him a Tony Award nomination. Morrison portrayed JM Barrie in the Broadway production of 'Finding Neverland' from March 2015 through January 2016.
