'RHONJ' star Gia Giudice picks a side amid Luis Ruelas's ongoing conflict with John Fuda
MONTVILLE, NEW JERSEY: There may be some misunderstanding among certain members of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' when it comes to the potential for reconciliation between Teresa Giudice and Rachel Fuda's husbands.
Negotiations for peace between Luis “Louie” Ruelas and John Fuda began when the women, including Teresa, came together at Jennifer Aydin’s pup party to celebrate Biscuit the Cavapoo's birthday.
During 'RHONJ' Season 14, Episode 4, Jennifer Fessler mentioned she had also invited Rachel, but Rachel ultimately decided not to attend due to Teresa's presence.
“She feels like, now, what she wants is Louie and John to talk, and I feel like it’s going to help,” Jennifer told the other cast members.
Dolores Catania was filled with anticipation as she pondered the potential outcomes of her highly anticipated Battle for Brooklyn softball event. She couldn't help but wonder if this friendly competition would serve as a much-needed platform for the men to come together and resolve their conflicts in a fair and balanced manner.
“If John and Luis can’t put their big boy pants on and be civil at a charity event, especially this one, ‘Guys, go f-ck yourself,’” Dolores said.
Gia Giudice concurred with Dolores' suggestion that it might be more beneficial for the men to have a private conversation, implying that everything would likely be resolved if they had a discussion in the locker room prior to the game.
During an overlapping discussion, Teresa said, “I know my husband’s going to behave. I really don’t trust Fuda.”
Talking of her stepdad, Gia said, “Luis, I’m telling you, he’s a really, really good guy. He said things, and I’ve looked at him now, and I’m like, ‘Lou, that’s not the person that you are. These people are just making you go crazy.’”

The tension between John and Luis dates back to the intense 'RHONJ' Season 13 reunion, where much of the drama centered around allegations that Luis had hired a private investigator to dig up dirt on the cast members (although Louie has somewhat denied this).
This controversy also caused a rift between Louie and his brother-in-law Joe Gorga, a conflict that was brought up by Jenn Fessler following a heated defense of her stepfather by Gia.
Jennifer told Gia, “People are saying hateful, disgusting things to each other that they wouldn’t otherwise. And so much of this — and I’m really not going here — goes back to you and your brother.”
Gia remarked that the ongoing conflict between Luis and Joe was "so passed."
During the Season 13 reunion, John Fuda alleged that Luis's private investigator had reached out to the mother of his son, Jaiden Fuda, causing tension as Rachel was in the midst of adopting the teenager at the time (the adoption has now been completed). The feud escalated during the 'RHONJ' Season 14 premiere, culminating in a heated confrontation at Jenn Fessler's surprise party.

At Jen's birthday bash that Luis opted out of attending, Teresa approached Rachel and expressed her reluctance to discuss the matter at that moment. However, she felt compelled to inform Rachel that her husband had made attempts to sabotage her own husband's reputation.
Then, Teresa said, “I don’t want to talk now, but your husband went for my husband, trying to ruin his reputation," to which Rachel responded by saying, "I think our husbands need to have a separate conversation."
Teresa made it clear that the husbands were not going to become friends anytime soon. She also mentioned that Luis had made an effort to reconcile with John before the party, showing that he was a gentleman.
The tension between the women escalated when Teresa brought up some accusations against Rachel's husband, ultimately leading to a heated exchange before the conversation came to an abrupt end.
“You know what your husband said to my husband? ‘I have tremendous respect for your wife ’cause we both went to jail.' I heard he was the biggest drug dealer in Bergen County. So don’t come for my husband, ’cause I will come for your husband," Teresa said.
