'Insult to Juicy Joe': 'RHONJ' fans sad for Joe Giudice as Luis Ruelas looks proud while dropping step-daughter Gabriella Giudice to college
ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN: It's time to return to school! Of course, some children will be leaving home for the first time. Teresa Giudice of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' had to say farewell to her daughter Gabriella, who is off to the University of Michigan. Luis “Louie” Ruelas joined the two on the drive to college.
Luis appeared to be overjoyed as he drove his stepdaughter to the University of Michigan, but his supporters had something important to say. Some OG followers thought it was "an insult to Juicy Joe" that Teresa's ex couldn't be with them at such an important time.
Teresa Giudice talks about Gabriella's last night at home before leaving for college
The 'RHONJ' star's child left home with her mother Teresa and stepfather Luis. Gabriella spent her last night of summer vacation with her family, including her sisters Gia Giudice, Milania Giudice, and Audriana Giudice, Teresa said in an Instagram Story on August 21
"I just made Gabriella her last dinner: chicken with spinach," Teresa remarked in a video, before turning the camera to Gabriella. "Hi, Gabriella! Love you." Teresa afterward went out for ice cream "as a famiglia," she added in another Instagram Story. "[Gabriella]’s leaving tomorrow. I’m sad," Teresa further said.
Teresa continued to chronicle the next day as she, Luis, and Gabriella prepared to fly to Michigan. But first, Gia sent a touching farewell message for her sister on her Instagram Stories.
The 22-year-old, who graduated from Rutgers University in May, uploaded a photo of Gabriella waving farewell in the car. "[The University of Michigan] just got really lucky," wrote Gia. "I love you, sister."
Teresa's stories then resumed as she videotaped the three in the car. "On our way to Michigan," she announced to the camera. "Hi, Gabriella! Beautiful porcelain doll. Hi, babe! University of Michigan, here we come!" she said.
Teresa shared another video of Gabriella after the trio boarded the plane, and Luis took a selfie with Teresa.
