UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: Reba McEntire used her playoff pass in the first Battle Round of 'The Voice' Season 25, preventing her fellow coach from stealing a diamond from her team! Reba "crushed" Chance the Rapper's dream of stealing L Rodgers when the NBC contestant lost the Battle round against Tae Lewis.

Tae and L sang "We Don't Fight Anymore" at the third round of Season 25's first Battle Night. L and Tae expressed their joy at being able to practice with Reba.

Tae said it was a momentous opportunity to rehearse with Reba. L commended Reba's teaching talents, saying she is drawing on her own experiences with this music choice.

L discussed how her relationship ended and how difficult it was for her to come out.

Chance exclaimed "wowww" and stated that he was unfamiliar with the song but enjoyed the performance. Shay Mooney stated that both of them "covered the heck" out of it.

After the performance, John Legend stated that he could not picture any of the performers leaving for home, and that if he had to choose, he would go with Tae. Reba stated she was "so proud of y'all" and that no matter what happens today, you can't walk another step without admitting you did well.

As Tae advanced, L had the opportunity to be stolen or awarded a playoff pass.

Chance lunged for the steal, but Reba prevented it by delivering L her playoff pass. L is moving on to the live playoffs, and Chance says, "Reba crushed my dreams."

'The Voice' Season 25 fans debate Reba McEntire's Playoff Pass choice

'The Voice' Season 25 viewers liked the Battle round between Tae and L and rushed to social media platforms to voice their support for both contestants.

One user commented, "So happy with how this turned out! Both voices are so awesome but L's voice just touches me to the core and Tae definitely has a chance to go big!" Another user chimed in, "L and Tae sang that song! Soo glad that L got the Playoff pass I kind of knew that would happen Glad that Tae is still in too."

One viewer expressed their concern regarding the playoff pass, "I’m hoping the playoff passes don’t backfire. We don’t get to “know” them through the journey. But great job to both! Wow! So talented." A fourth user felt, "@reba should have saved her pass for a better singer and let L be stolen. She'll wish she saved it later."

Others belived, " both were so good and @reba using the Playoff pass on L Rodgers was the correct choice because she didn't want her female powerhouse Country singer to be on @DanAndShay's team." "Playoff Pass is amazing!!!! Good choice Reba," wrote another.

Who is L Rodgers on 'The Voice' Season 25?

Growing up, L always felt that something was off about her. It wasn't until a few years ago that she conducted thorough research and discovered she was autistic.

Music has helped her cope with her autism. She grew up around music, as her father, a renowned musician, encouraged her potential.

In her twenties, L identified as bisexual and married a man, but she eventually valued her honesty, coming out as a lesbian and falling in love with her now-wife, Dara. L's embrace of her genuine self has earned her a large TikTok following of over 250,000 people.

Even as she battles Alzheimer's, she maintains a particular connection with her Memaw via singing. L thinks 'The Voice' will highlight her ability and make her Memaw proud.
