'Real Girlfriends in Paris': Who is Anya Firestone? Meet the art critic who has worked with Christian Dior and Harper’s Bazaar

PARIS, FRANCE: If you've always dreamed of living in Paris, immersed in art, culture and everything the city has to offer, then Bravo's 'Real Girlfriends in Paris' is here to fill the void (until you get there, that is). As per the synopsis of the series -- "While in the City of Lights, six bold twentysomething American women find each other, encounter a romantic rendezvous or two and embrace all the spontaneity that comes with living in an exciting new city." 

With the new series comes a cast of new stars, all of whom are set to have their lives unfold onscreen. Among them is Anya Firestone, a multi-talented woman who wears many hats when it comes to her career. To know more about her, continue reading! Who is Anya Firestone?

An upcoming reality star, Anya Firestone is a client experience strategist and art theorist. As per her LinkedIn, Firestone studied at the Parsons School of Design - The New School and also attended The George Washington University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA), in Art History and English. She also attended Columbia University and graduated with a Master of Arts (MA), in French Cultural Studies. Firestone currently runs her own agency, known as Maison Firestone, which "specializes in client-engagement strategies and heritage amplification for luxury brands built upon art, design, history, and culture."  Working deeply in the art and culture space, she also writes as a critic for Highsnobiety Magazine and is a nationally licensed Guide Conférencière in France, hosting exclusive, bespoke tours for private clients. Apart from her extensive work in the art world, she has also served as a consultant for brands such as Peter Marino, Christian Dior and Harper’s Bazaar.



 

Is Anya Firestone in a relationship?

As per her social media, Firestone is engaged to Matthieu Rasset, a data scientist and luxury business specialist. The pair recently celebrated their five-year anniversary, with Firestone posting an image on Instagram captioned -- "High 5 to my main (🖐🏻) man 🙌🏻 ! 5 years today since the day we met at Hemingway (and never left ). Happy Anyaversaire @matthieu_rasset !"



 

Firestone's Bravo bio reads -- "Anya Firestone is an artistic, bubbly and resilient woman who loves all things French culture. She has lived in Paris on and off for the last decade, has a master’s degree in French cultural studies, and is licensed by the French government to give tours at every historical and cultural venue in Paris. As an inventive hostess, she often has gatherings and weekly Shabbat dinners in her Parisian apartment that she shares with her fiancé, Mathieu, and their precious pup, Zsa Zsa. Anya exudes her quirky personality everywhere she goes, and her affectionate presence makes her the go-to shoulder to lean on when the ladies are feeling homesick or needing advice."

'Real Girlfriends in Paris' premieres at 9.15 pm ET/PT on Monday, September 5 on Bravo.
