It isn't a season of 'Southern Charm' without drama. Ever since the start of Season 8, it looks like there have just been back-to-back fights and confrontations, with something or the other constantly happening. And it looks like this time, Olivia Flowers and Venita Aspen as in the spotlight.

Venita and Olivia got into an argument at the former's birthday celebration, as they stepped aside to talk about what went wrong at Naomie's party. Venita made it clear that Olivia was out of line asking her to calm down, while Olivia added that she had multiple women come at her.

She added that she heard Venita throw around the word 'racist' back then and didn't want to stick around for that conversation. Venita then went ahead and asked Olivia if she was racist or not which led Olivia to explain that she was not okay with someone throwing that word around when they hardly knew her. But for Venita, the conversation came up, seeing that Olivia was defending Kathryn. Fans, however, were not okay with the turn the conversation took and noted that Venita did more damage than good.

"Tell me you don’t have a story line without telling me you don’t have a storyline #SouthernCharm" said a fan. "Chile! Venita you are in the wrong show sista! Them folks ain’t ready to talk about racism. That’s why some checkout when the word is brought up. #SouthernCharm" said a fan. "Ok I’m f’n tired of Vernita and the racist shit! This show has never been about that and I enjoyed it! This bring the “black girl” stereotype that she’s creating is very annoying and offensive to me! Shut the f’k up and be regular!#SouthernCharm" added another. "Venita had the opportunity to use her platform to do something meaningful and instead used it to be an a--hole. #SouthernCharm" tweeted another. "Venita is dangerous. Disagree with her and suddenly, the race card is dropped. Racism is wrong but calling a person for walking away from you bc you’re being annoying and then asserting it’s bc they’re somehow racist is messed up. #SouthernCharm" added another. "The racism issue in our current state of affairs is real. It’s deep. But the way Venita is confronting, truly does the significance of it a disservice. Now she’s accusing Olivia of being a racist!? Made my stomach turn. Venita’s tone is crazy right now. No way. #SouthernCharm" said a fan.
