'Southern Charm' Season 8: Fans call out Chleb for leaving, support Kathryn's choice to end relationship

If you think Season 8 of 'Southern Charm' is all about the drama, then you're not wrong. But it turns out, it is packing some love and heartbreak as well. Over the course of the show, Kathryn Dennis has not had an easy time. From her messy relationships to her baggage, Kathryn has had a lot of growing up to do. So when she started dating Chleb Ravenell, fans were glad to see that she found some form of stability.

But it looks like that was short-lived. Kathryn's birthday party not only caused a stir between her and Naomie and Craig and Austen, but it also led to a fight between her and Chleb, when she found out that he had a conversation with Venita. According to Kathryn, that was not his conversation to have and she called him out on his loyalty, leading to an argument between the two, causing Chleb to leave their apartment in the following days.

In the hope of figuring out what to do, Kathryn spoke with Chleb's mother, who she has a close relationship with. His mother reassured her that she would talk to Chleb about coming back home and suggested that Kathryn consider a do-over in order to make things work. However, things didn't go according to plan when Chleb went over. While the two sat down to talk about what happened, Kathryn explained that his leaving only amplified her anxiety. However, for Chleb, he needed some space and he felt as though Kathryn had no regard for his feelings. The deeper the conversation went, the messier it got, with Chleb admitting that he was not entirely ready for Kathryn's kids to be a part of the mix. However, for Kathryn, her kids came first, as she pointed out that he knew she came with a lot of baggage, regarding her past and her ex. While Chleb still wanted to make things work, Kathryn felt as though she didn't want to drag it out and called it quits. For the most part, fans were on her side.

It looks like things have officially ended with Chleb and Kathryn. Seeing that the couple are no longer together in real life either, it seems like they truly couldn't work past their differences.
