‘Ozark’: Will there be any spin-off after the show ends?

Unfortunately, the makers have not announced any spin-off as of now. But maybe that won’t be the end of the story. While Netflix has no plans of coming out with a spin-off, creator Chris Mundy recently suggested that viewers might see something related to ‘Ozark’ someday.

Talking to the Hollywood Reporter, Mundy talked about if they have any plans of filming a spin-off. He said, “Never say never, but right now we want to make sure we land this one as well as we possibly can.” However, he made it clear that they want to finish ‘Ozark’ first and give viewers a satisfying end.

So, it won’t come as a shock if Netflix announces any kind of project related to the Netflix crime thriller and it might just turn out to be another hit in the streamer’s briefcase, just like ‘Better Call Saul’.

‘Breaking Bad’ is considered to be one of the best shows of this generation and when the show ended, AMC announced that it will be coming out with a spin-off series ‘Better Call Saul’. In 2015, the spin-off show premiered and received universal acclaim. Over the years, ‘Better Call Saul’ has turned out to become one of the most popular shows on television and is currently airing its sixth and final season.

Just like ‘Breaking Bad’, if ‘Ozark’ also decides to come out with a spin-off, it will undoubtedly create curiosity in minds of the people. We are surely rooting for it.

‘Ozark’ Season 4 Part 2 will be premiering exclusively on Netflix on April 29, 2022.
