Netflix is bringing to screens the fourth and final season of the hit crime drama 'Ozark' and the stakes are higher than ever for the Byrde family. The Season 3 finale saw the cartel head Omar Navarro have Helen killed which essentialy left the Byrdes with no middle man increasing the danger to them as they'll have to deal with the head directly.

Filled with badass characters, risks, dangers, family drama and dynamics 'Ozark' won hearts all around so the fourth season is much anticipated. The last leg is being split into two parts with Part 2 to drop later on. Along with a gripping plot, the actors who play the cunning characters are what make the show shine, so here's a deeper look into the stellar cast set to return once more to Netflix.

Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde

Jason Bateman is a prominent American actor, director, and producer who forayed into showbiz in the 1980s with ' Little House on the Prairie' and went on to gain international recognition in the motion picture sequel 'Teen Wolf Too'. Impressing from the beginning he also became the Directors Guild of America's youngest-ever director at age 18, when he helmed three episodes of 'The Hogan Family'. His works include 'Game Night', 'Horrible Bosses', ' The Switch', 'Juno' and more. 

His role as Marty Byrde in 'Ozark' won critical acclaim with him being awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series in 2019 for his directing of the series and also won two Screen Actors Guild Awards for his performance. Bateman will return as one of the leads in the fourth and final season of the crime drama again.



 

Laura Linney as Wendy Byrde

Laura Linney is a popular American actress and singer. The actress first came onto the movie scene with a few minor roles here and there during the 1990s but went on to steadily climb the acting ladder. Her roster of works includes 'You Can Count On Me', 'Love Actually', 'The Truman Show', 'Nocturnal Animals', 'Sully' and more. Linney is also well known in Broadway and has been nominated for 5 Tony awards till date.

Her role as the matriarch Wendy Byrde in the hit series 'Ozark' won her nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award for her performances in both seasons one and two and for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for season two leaving her with an impressive total of two Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards, and with for three Academy Awards and five Tony Awards. Linney will return for the final season of 'Ozark' as well.

'Ozark' Season 4 is set to premiere on January 21, 2022, on Netflix.
