LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The latest science-fiction series, 'Orphan Black: Echoes', takes viewers on a captivating journey into the near future, where bio-engineering technology has reached its peak and human clones are a reality.

Anna Fishko's drama depicts Lucy (Krysten Ritter), a woman who, having lost her memory of her past, embarks on a journey to uncover the hidden truth about her identity.

However, when confronted by a henchman sent by the Additive Foundation to retrieve her, Lucy decides to take matters into her own hands.

While trying to unearth the truth, Lucy encounters a mysterious young girl named Jules Lee (Amanda Fix), who bears a striking resemblance to her younger self, adding to her confusion.

At first, Jules dismisses her claims, but eventually grows uneasy and realizes she is a clone.

Motivated by their shared desire to uncover the secrets behind their shared dreams, Lucy and Jules decide to experiment with Jules's medications, leading to a euphoric high.

Jack (Avan Jogia) monitors and encourages them to sketch their aspirations.

During this time, Lucy tells Jules that Dr Kira Manning (Keeley Hawes) is responsible for her creation, but Jules does not recognize her.

Frustrated by their fragmented memories, they decide to piece together clues from their dreams using paint.

While painting, they uncover significant items such as a watch and a church steeple, triggering flashbacks that unveil a deeper connection to their past.

However, the two still struggle to piece together the meaning behind their dreams.

During their exploration, Lucy hears a metallic sound, prompting Jack to intervene and dismiss it as hallucinations induced by their altered state.

What do the dreams signify for Lucy and Jules Lee?

Lucy and Jules's frustration with their memory gaps has been palpable throughout the show, and their shared quest to uncover the missing piece of their dreams promises more excitement in the upcoming episodes.

Some of the symbolic clues uncovered during their painting session lead them to new revelations, while items like the watch trigger additional flashbacks, gradually unveiling hidden memories and bringing them closer to understanding their origins.

It's conceivable that their shared memories originate from the same original person who inspired both of them.

The woman was probably subjected to a lethal assault that caused her death, and she had a link with either Dr Kira or Paul Darros (James Hiroyuki Liao), who subsequently cloned her.

The question of why two clones of the same individual are necessary remains unanswered. Lucy could have been the prototype, while Jules might have been the advanced version.

Overall, the stage is set, and with stakes higher than ever, Lucy and Jules must race against time to uncover the truth about their existence.
