Spoilers for 'The Circle' Season 5

MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM: As Netflix released an all-new Season 5 of ‘The Circle’, viewers and fans were enthralled to find a vivid assortment of players in the new season. With impressive participants such as an ASL performer, a British comedian, and even a buff chemical engineer, Season 5 was host to several intriguing faces as well as a few disguised catfishes in the mix.

But having such a vast list of contestants also means that there are those that viewers might find troublesome or downright villainous. And in Season 5, it seems the former ‘Big Brother’ contestant Brett Robinson might have garnered himself the crown of the season’s villain. But of course, since the season has only begun, there is a chance that another player might snatch the title of “most hated by fans” from Brett, considering that ‘The Circle’ is still to introduce a couple of new players in the upcoming episodes. But until then, the reality star surely has to face the wrath of the fans.

Maybe it was Brett’s overconfidence about his looks, or perhaps his entitled attitude on the show, which he showcased when he was eliminated in the first episode by claiming that other players were jealous of him, but the former ‘Big Brother’ participant indeed ended up at the top of fans and viewers’ list of most disliked. Many were even shattered to learn that Brett had been given a second chance along with Xanthi Perdikomatis as the pair were instructed to catfish the other players in the form of new player Jennifer. Brett’s ultimate bad guy move was probably his scheming with Xanthi to take top player Raven Sutton down by anonymously creating a mean and hurtful dating profile for the ASL performer. Brett added that Raven's worst habit is that she "can't stay faithful," while also describing her as "fun, insensitive, and shady."

Brett’s behavior on the show earned him plenty of disdain from viewers, as one Twitter user wrote, “Brett on the circle is so annoying.” Another added to the discussion, “Got back on twitter just to say that Xanthi and Brett have ruined this season of the circle lol.. I can’t tell y’all how quick the smile left my face when they got a second chance. Should have just sent them homeeee.” One social media user blamed a headache on Brett, claiming, “I have a headache af and i know it’s not dehydration bc i actually drank water today so the only logical conclusion is that it’s because of brett’s face on my tv watching the circle.”

While another called him the season’s villain, penning, “Finally the circle has given us a villain and his name is brett.” An annoyed netizen also wrote, “Why the F**K is Brett from Big Brother on this season of The Circle? This will be my first time petitioning Netflix to cancel a show lmaooo. I can’t stand this dude.” One deemed him “insufferable,” writing, “Started watching the circle last night and brett is quite insufferable.” A viewer even said, “I hated Brett on Big Brother, and I hate him on The Circle too.” And a fan noted, “Brett’s about to make the circle unwatchable isn’t he?”
