It is the season of 'Legends' on 'MasterChef'. The home cooks were involved in a cut-throat competition from the get-go on the culinary reality show. With only 15 white aprons available as opposed to the usual 20, the home cooks had no option but to put their absolute best foot forward and impress not only the regular judges -- Gordon Ramsay, Aaron Sanchez, and Joe Bastianich -- but also the other legendary celebrity chefs that were featured on the show.

Of the thousands of talented home cooks that auditioned with the hopes of receiving the coveted white apron, cooking in the 'MasterChef' kitchen, and hopefully winning the culinary competition show, three lucky lucky home cooks managed to clear the many challenges and curveballs thrown at them and made it to the grand finale. One of them is none other than 27-year-old Autumn Moretti. Autumn will be competing for the title of 'MasterChef' alongside Kelsey Murphy, and Suu Khin. This is the first time ever in the history of 'MasterChef' that all the three finalists are women. So, irrespective of who wins the title, these three ladies have already made history. If you're curious to know more about Autumn then read on.

Who is Autumn Moretti?

Autumn is a 27-year-old bartender from Boston. With her arm tattoos and huge ear piercings, this pretty blonde definitely knows how to stand out in the crowd, and this doesn't just apply to her appearances but also extends to her cooking style. Right from the beginning, Autumn kept raising the bar by whipping up some bold and risky dishes in the competition. While most contestants played it safe during the auditions by cooking tried and tested signature dishes, Autumn pushed the envelope by cooking a very unusual dessert-miso banana cake. The judges, who also happen to be some of the biggest names in the food industry too had never heard of this particular combination of cake and were very curious to try it. It just took one bite of the cake for the judges to immediately realize that she had immense potential and could go very far along in the competition.

They weren't wrong, as Autumn managed to impress the judges week after week with her bold, signature dishes. She never shied away from taking risks and experimenting with flavors, textures, and ingredients. Autumn's risks and hard work has paid off as she finally made it to the finale. Autumn revealed on the show that she had no formal training for cooking. She grew up in an Italian family that absolutely loves food. So she picked up her culinary skills by watching her family members cook. Her interest in food industry sparked after she landed a job as a bartender.
