'MasterChef: Legends' Semi-Finals Fan Review: All-girl finale divides viewers
Amongst thousands of home-cooks that applied to be on 'MasterChef: Legends' fifteen talented home-cooks managed to make the cut and get their hands on the white apron. But that was just the beginning of their extremely grueling and challenging journey to win the coveted 'MasterChef' title and the $250,000 grand prize, a complete Viking kitchen and kitchen tools and bakeware products from OXO waiting for the winner.
Aside from impressing the show's regular judges- Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich, and Aaron Sanchez, the home cooks also had the additional responsibility of impressing the legendary chefs that would drop in as guest judges on the show. So it's safe to say that the road to the 'MasterChef' finale was definitely not a cakewalk. Despite all these challenges, three home cooks stood out and earned their spot to compete in the much-awaited 'MasterChef: Legends' finale. The three lucky home-cooks are Kelsey Murphy, Autumn Moretti, and Suu Khin. For the first time in the history of 'MasterChef', the top three finalists are all women. Just like Gordon Ramsay, even fans are thrilled about it.

Should Suu have been eliminated? 'MasterChef' fan-favorite misses an ingredient
During the semi-finals, Alejandro Valdivia was sent home after his fish was overcooked. Although some fans felt that Suu should have been sent home as she missed an ingredient while plating her dish during the challenge, the food blogger's dish was so flavorful and delicious that the judges were willing to overlook it. All the three finalists- Kelsey, Autumn, and Suu have been pretty consistent with their performance throughout the competition.
They have not only impressed the judges but also were regularly on the top 3 list and won several challenges. So, it came as no surprise that these three women made it to the finals. Many fans took to Twitter to share their excitement. A fan tweeted, "All women finally canβt wait till next week #MasterChef." "This is the first time in the show history that top 3 finalists are all girls! #MasterChef," wrote a fan. Another fan added, "The first time 3 womens compete in #MasterChef Finale I got chills hearing this groundbreaking fact. This summer was a pleasure being along with their cooking journey and everyone here. Legendary."

However, there were some fans who questioned the all-women finalists. A fan shared, "#MasterChef My first season ever watching and my last. These 3 have obviously been in the bag for the finale for the last 6 weeks. They can do no wrong even when they do stuff wrong. No surprise. Anti Climatic. Moving on. Congrats whoever wins, but simply not interested.." Another fan echoed similar thoughts with, "Itβs a fix! Autumn has been praised for everything this season....undeservedly! If you watch closely, one of the chefs already knows her and never has a bad thing to say about her. #MasterChef." "How did Suu get through with burnt stuff and no sauce and missing acid and so onβ¦ what did I miss that that saw an all girl final? #MasterChef," wondered a fan.
