LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA:'X-Men '97' dropped on Disney+ as a continuation of the beloved X-Men: The Animated Series. Episode 4 promises an unexpected twist, as teased by a newly released clip focusing on Jubilee (Holly Chou) and Sunspot (Gui Agustini).

While the X-Men are well-prepared to face off against supervillains, they find themselves unprepared for a virtual reality trap, a challenge not covered in their school lessons.

Marvel Studios drops exclusive clip ahead of 'X-Men '97' Episode 4 

On Wednesday, April 3, Marvel Studios teased the die-hard fans of 'X-Men '97' with a short exclusive clip, showcasing an animation style that nods to the classic 1992 'X-Men' arcade game. This move has sparked excitement and joy among original X-Men fans.

In a sneak peek from Episode 4 titled 'Motendo/Lifedeath - Part 1', both Jubilee and Sunspot find themselves trapped in what appears to be an old video game. As they battle against the foes sent to kill them, a rendition of the iconic X-Men theme by Ron Wasserman plays in the background, resembling the tunes from the era when 'X-Men: The Animated Series' aired.

Fans eagerly awaited to see if Jubilee and Sunspot could navigate their way out of this virtual reality simulation safely when 'X-Men '97' Episode 4 premiered on Disney+, on April 3.



 

Marvel Studios also posted the same clip on X, saying, "Press START to continue! Watch this new clip from Marvel Animation's all-new XMen97. New episode streaming tomorrow only on @DisneyPlus."

Fans are buzzing with excitement following the release of the official clip of 'X-Men '97', many reminiscing about their childhood playing the classic 'X-Men' arcade game.
