Wondering about the significance of '97'? It pays homage to 'X-Men: The Animated Series', which concluded in 1997.

As a direct sequel, 'X-Men '97' continues the storyline from that era, seamlessly picking up where the original series left off.

Continuing from the aftermath of the original series' fifth season, Season 1 of 'X-Men '97' delves into the aftermath of Charles Xavier's demise and the tasks he assigned to his students.

Magneto resurfaces as a formidable foe, staging a plot to seize control of the Xavier Institute in one of the season's key storylines across its 10 episodes.

Notably, Deadpool & Wolverine is expected to feature a significant X-Man role in the upcoming blockbuster.
