If 2021 was the year of GOT7 members’ solo projects, 2022 is chaos as fans eagerly wait for a reunion comeback. We have some members spoiling it left and right while others pretend that there is no comeback in the works. Both Mark Tuan and Bambam got logical with fans stating that they would immediately know when GOT7 is reuniting when Mark and Jackson head back to South Korea from LA and China respectively. And we are one step closer with Mark flying to Seoul on March 5.

However, it seems that leader Jay B is adamant about denying the comeback to the point that he got dramatic in the March 9 episode of his radio show. The GOT7 leader addressed Mark and shared that he didn’t even know his member was in the same country as him and he only found out through social media. The fandom found the whole thing hilarious as many believed that Jay B was trying to throw fans off their scent. But it looks like Mark had to clear up his name.

Mark posted a screenshot on Instagram of GOT7’s group chat titled ‘Group 7’ where he sent a photo of his baggage at the airport sharing that he had reached South Korea. He captioned the Instagram story as “I left a text as soon as I arrived… I’ll be busy but please meet me… Jay B.” Fans have several divided reactions to it. Many found it funny that Jay B probably missed the group message and was sulking. Another fan pointed out that Jay B had read the message as visible in the screenshot which means Jay B and Mark were just acting. Others simply made fun of the group chat name.

'He tryna shut those cb rumours'

Before Mark responded, we already had fans teasing Jay B as they made tweets like, “Someone tell jaebeom we don't trust him anymore,” and “Okay actor Jayb when is the your comeback? I nearly cried tbh.” Another Ahgase posted, “He tryna shut those cb rumours again You ain't slick sir.” It got more chaotic after Mark posted the group chat message. One fan didn’t know what to focus on, “Idk what's funnier mark giving proof that he messaged their gc as soon as he arrived or their groupchats name ‘Group 7’.”

Another fan made an interesting comparison, “Jaebeom is that one student that never opened the class gc, then complains why he wasn't graded in the thesis paper.” One joked, “The man texted his boys when he was clearing his IG photos to tell them not to worry but jaebeom thought he could get away by saying the same man didn’t tell them he’s coming to korea?”

Another added, “Jaebeom saying he found out mark's return through social media and mark immediately had to clear his name by proving he messaged as soon as he landed do you ever just feel like you're watching a ping pong match when you witness got7.” One Ahgase made a reaction meme, “Jaebeom every time someone sends a message to the got7 gc:.” Another proved that Jay B had indeed read the message and was acting, “Okay so Jaebeom is a liar and Mark is lazy to change their gc name.”
