GOT7's Mark Tuan returns to South Korea ahead of comeback, fans ask ‘where is Jackson?’

After spending a year in LA, Mark ends his well-deserved break and finally returns to join other GOT7 members in Asia

As they trend various phrases and hashtags on Twitter including ‘Welcome Back Mark’ ‘#GOT7StillAlive’ ‘GOT7 Comeback Soon’ and many more, fans of GOT7 may just be going through a thousand different emotions. Mark, the oldest member of the group, who stunned fans with his insane visuals at the 2022 Paris Fashion Week has finally returned to South Korea. Late on March 3, the GOT7 rapper was seen arriving in South Korea via the Incheon International Airport after taking a year off to meet his family.

With Mark finally returning back to South Korea, a year and two months after his emotionally overwhelming departure to his hometown in LA, California, fans are sure that a GOT7 comeback is in the making. Ahgases who knew that Mark had not been to his hometown for a long long time were ecstatic about the rapper finally being able to reunite with his family and just as much as they loved the content Mark provided from LA, a complete GOT7 reunion was long overdue.

Is GOT7 making a comeback?

Now as six out of the seven members of GOT7 have reunited in South Korea, it is far too obvious that a full group comeback is in store. While Jackson is the only member of the group left to join the rest, fans start questioning stan Twitter of his whereabouts hoping that it hastens his arrival to South Korea. While Mark is now back in South Korea, even during his period of rest in LA the rapper proved that the hustle never stops as he continued to deliver content to fans in terms of music.

Alongside his last released single ‘Last Breath’, he also released his first OST for Marvel’s ‘Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings’ titled, ‘Never Gonna Come Down’, Mark Tuan proved his dedication to music and his love for fans. Ever since Mark bid farewell to members Jay B, Jackson, and Yugyeom that came to big him drop him off at the airport for his LA vacation, fans started hoping for new moments of the members reuniting.

GOT7 reunion over the last few months

While the members in South Korea kept meeting each other in person and flaunting it on their social media, Jackson and Mark were always missing. One of the most recent instances of a full group GOT7 reunion was when the members celebrated their eighth anniversary since their debut in January. On the day of their anniversary, members decided to surprise fans with a special gift to fans as they all gathered together, virtually, on Instagram Live to greet fans.

Jay B, GOT7’s leader, and Jinyoung gathered together while the group's maknae line, Youngjae, Bambam, and Yugyeom gathered together and joined a shared Instagram live to meet fans. As Mark was still in LA at the time, he too joined using his Instagram account while Jackson, who is mockingly called technologically challenged joined via a FaceTime call on Jinyoung’s phone. Among the many things discussed on the Live stream, fans made it known to the members that a GOT7 comeback was long overdue, and with Mark back in South Korea, we might soon be getting just that.

‘GOT7 comeback is happening’

Ahgashes are not delusional about this fact, as in one of the press conferences for his solo comeback, ‘B’, Bambam had plainly stated that as soon as Mark and Jackson return to South Korea, it would be pretty obvious that GOT7 was going to make a comeback. This is why as soon as Mark returned, Ahgases started trending ‘Where is Jackson Wang?’ hoping that the Chinese member of the group would return too and make the group whole again. One fan said, “Mark is in Korea? So, it's mean got7 comeback soon? OMG let me cry first.” One more fan said, “GOT7 COMEBACK SOON??? GIVE US THE BALLS SIR. IT'S ALMSOST TIME."

One Ahgase said, “Jackson's Instagram said "korea" now mark in korea, bambam said "when you see the members at the airport you know the got7 comeback is happening" One fan asked Jackson, “Now the question is where are you @JacksonWang852 👀 i havent seen you for so long.” Another fan said, “Omg Mark in Korea 🇰🇷 and Now where is Jackson?”
