GOT7's Jay B and ØZI are to be featured in James Reid remix 'Hello 2.0 Legends Only'

While Jay B is the leader of GOT7, one of the biggest K-pop groups, he is also expanding as a soloist from releasing solo albums under two stage names, having art exhibitions, partnering with the likes of Adidas and Burberry to gracing the covers of magazines like Allure US, Arena Homme and GQ. And now the GOT7 star’s next single is a global collaboration with the likes of Filipino star James Reid.

On February 25, Careless Music shared that their Filipino-Australian artist James Reid had met up on Zoom with GOT7’s Jay B and ØZI, a Taiwanese-American artist and shared a snippet. In the background, we could hear the chorus as the three sing ‘Hello’ with the caption ‘Hello 2.0 Legends Only’. The Philippines music label then shared that the collaboration will be released on March 11.

Jay B to be featured on James Reid remix

James Reid is an actor, having big names like ‘Diary ng Panget’, ‘This Time’ and ‘Good Vibes’ in his filmography. He debuted as a singer in 2017 with his first studio album ‘Palm Dreams’. ‘Hello’ is James Reid's 2021 single released in August. He has teamed up with Jay B and ØZI for its remix version, ‘Hello 2.0 Legends Only’ which will drop on March 11. Reid has also been seen sporting merch by GOT7’s Mark that had many fans wondering if they would be the ones collaborating. However, this new turn of events has Ahgases (GOT7’s fandom), and especially Filo Ahgases excited.

‘Beyond proud’

Jay B and James Reid have been trending ever since the teaser release on February 25 as fans made tweets like, “JAY B (jaebeom of got 7) AND JAMES REID COLLABORATION IS FINALLY HAPPENING SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP.” Another Ahgase posted, “Jaebeom collaborating with james reid who is also a fan and was seen wearing mark’s represent. lmao now it reminds me of when jackson said he really love the milo here in the Philippines. also bambam singing and listening to a Filipino songs. got7 filo era? sour true.” 

Another proud fan shared, “You know what makes me even happier knowing that it is not only JAYB who will go worldwide but also James Reid, as a Filipino it such a privilege and I'm beyond proud 🥺✨ plus to OZI, I may not know him yet but collaborating with different artists around the world is just wow.” One commented, “JAY B, South Korean James Reid, Filipino-Australian ØZI, Taiwanese-American we going ✈️ worldwide.” Another added, “Hello i just wanna say that i have big fat crush on james reid and lim jaebeom and so this collab will be the death of me.” Proud Filo fans also made reaction memes and said, “No cuz we thought of james reid x mark tuan cuz he was wearing mark’s represent before but now we’re getting jayb x james reid instead.”
