'Business Proposal': GOT7 Bambam gets 1st K-drama OST, fans say 'give us actor Bam'

The male lead, Ahn Hyo-seop was rumored to debut with GOT7 when they were in JYPE

It looks like Bambam is making 2022 his year. He released his second mini-album ‘B’ in January after teasing it with the collab of 2021 by featuring Red Velvet’s Seulgi in the pre-release ‘Who Are You’. He ranked high on several charts like Gaon and topped iTunes in 30 regions within 24 hours of its release. That wasn’t enough as he went on to team up with popular Thai rappers F.Hero and Youngohm for the single ‘Skrrt’. And now he has landed his first K-drama OST (original soundtrack) ever.

The Thai-born K-pop idol had previously lent his voice for the OST of the Thai film ‘The Con-Heartist’ in 2020. Well, on March 7, it was announced that Bambam would be singing his first K-drama OST for the popular ongoing show ‘Business Proposal’. It should be noted that the drama’s male lead is none other than Korean-Canadian actor Ahn Hyo-seop who was a trainee in JYPE, had trained with the GOT7 members and was rumored to debut with them which has fans excited for the JYPE crumbs.

Bambam to sing ‘Business Proposal’ OST

‘Business Proposal’ has a star-studded OST lineup as they have roped in artists like MeloMance, Lee Mujin and Victon. Bambam will be singing the OST ‘Melting’. It is said to be a sweet and cheery song about the main couple and their love story. Production is excited as they shared they are looking forward to Bambam’s take on the song. It will be released on March 9 at 6 pm KST (4 am ET) on all major music streaming platforms. ‘Business Proposal’ is an office romance about CEO Kang who gets into a fake relationship with his employee, Ha-ri.

Excited fans trended Bambam as they made tweets like, “Bambam first Korean ost 🥺💕💕 this is the best news I got this morning.” Another fan joked, “My friend and i: let’s watch my business proposal when it has 6 episodes already     but now that bambam dropped the ost… us: LET’S WATCH NOW.” One Ahgase posted, “NOW AFTER THIS YOU BETTER GIVE US ACTORBAM.” Another shared, “Knowing the hyoseop was a former **** trainee, is friends with the sevens and almost debuted with them is making my heart flutter especially now that bambam is singing one of the osts of drama he’s in.”

One happy fan commented, “You don’t understand, this is bambam’s first korean ost 🥺 and he always wishes to be recognized in korea as an artist, and it makes me really happy it is slowly coming true.” Another Ahgase pointed out, “Got7 really not letting us breath like  mark arriving in korea, Jackson's album which will be releasing today, bambam getting his first korean ost and then jayb collab coming soon. they just suddenly became active at the same time.” One fan said, “Our boy first drama ost.
