'Mama June: Family Crisis' viewers slam Honey Boo Boo as she calls herself 'famous' and hunts for rental apartment
DENVER, COLORADO: 'Mama June: Family Crisis' Season 7 star Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson visited Colorado with Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird, Josh Efird, and her beau Dralin Carswell to finalize her living arrangements before her move. While Honey Boo Boo was thrilled about the prospect of living with Dralin, some viewers seemed to take offense at the decision.
In the recent episode, Honey Boo Boo mentioned that she's quite famous, suggesting that living off-campus would be a safer option for her. However, she encountered difficulties in finding the perfect apartment for herself and Dralin. She desired a rental apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but the rent exceeded $2,000.
Furthermore, Honey Boo Boo's application to rent the house was declined due to her "no credit" status. The viewers suggested that she wasn't that famous and could live on campus amid the drama. A social media user posted, "I think Alana should get the experience of living on campus. She’s not that famous to cause a stir." Another person added, "Alana can stay on campus then in a dorm she is not that big of a celebrity trust."
Another critic noted, "Only a fool would rent to Alana and Dralin. I wouldn't! Why @HoneyBooBooWEtv thinks she is too big a celebrity to live on campus is a mystery. Delusional!" "LEAVE THAT BF BURDEN AND RUN TO COLORADO!!!! It's better ones on campus...I'm sure of that. He'll, they're ON campus with you. Draylin won't," wrote another fan. Another Reddit user stated, "She should Stay in dorm, no one cares if She’s Honey boo boo."
