'Love Match Atlanta' Episode 8: Is this the end of the road for The Matchmaking Duo?

When it originally debuted in May, the new Bravo series 'Love Match Atlanta' delved deeply into the business of matchmaking in Atlanta. The series followed the personal and professional lives of Atlanta's finest matchmakers as they assisted the city's famous singles -- Shae Primus, Tana Gilmore, Kelli Fisher, Joseph Dixon, and Ming Clark, in finding love. Fans are undoubtedly interested to see what the future holds for our matchmakers as the season finale airs on Sunday, June 26 at 9:30 pm. Love is in the air in Atlanta, and there is also a lot of serious drama, as viewers saw throughout the season.

The synopsis for the episode reads: "The Matchmakers are brought up to speed on Joseph and Paris' explosive fight; Shae receives shocking feedback on her client Shanta's date, which causes her to question if she should keep working with her." Fans are interested in learning more about the Matchmaking Duo and their future in the industry, even if the season finale is expected to provide an update on the Joseph and Paris conflict.
Chris, Kelli's boyfriend, dropped a bombshell on her in an earlier episode, when he said he wouldn't be able to move to Atlanta to be with her. Chris, a single parent, informs Kelli that he would be unable to leave Detroit since he has lived there his entire life. Given their distance, Kelli first had her doubts about their relationship, but she decided to give it a try since she felt it would be worthwhile her time and effort. She did, however, add that she doesn't want to jeopardize the relationship she has with her partner Tana. Chris has always had Kelli as his biggest supporter, but he just also said Atlanta is not a possibility for him.
Kelli approaches Tana to have a heart-to-heart in episode 7. She tells her about Chris's ultimatum and confides in her that she is unsure what to do with their business. Tana was astonished to learn about Kelli's status because she feels extremely dependent on her as a business partner. She supports Kelli and Chris out of friendship, but as a business partner, she doesn't want to lose Kelli.
The Matchmaking Duo is shown getting ready for their Mixer's event in the most recent teaser clip published by Bravo before Sunday's program. The program is finishing on a high note with the celebration of the outstanding partnership after the season saw one event from each matchmaker. In the video, Shae can be heard asking Tana to confirm her attendance at the event. Shae responds that she will need two confirmations since Tana plans to bring her new boyfriend, Marquette, who was amusingly paired by the Matchmaking Duo. The pair then gives Joseph and Paris their invitation's confirmation. After what happened at Shae's event, they doubt that they would turn up together. To avoid having to merely stand about and meet people, Kelli suggests that runners create an agenda before the event. Because they definitely need to talk anyhow, Tana says she would prefer to do it tonight. When Tana mentions that they are organizing this enormous celebration without even knowing if Kelli would attend, Kelli looks stumped. They last spoke about Chris's decision not to move to Atlanta, which left them uncertain about the future of their business. Tana reminds her of the time they had discussed working as a cohesive team as a whole, but she is unsure if they are "uno or duo" at the moment.
So, will the Matchmaking Duo's labor of love come to an end? Tana is upset that her friend could be leaving, but a separate preview for the next episode depicts Chris popping the question to Kelli. Kelli had many ambitions for herself and her company, but everything suddenly changed.
