Viewers of 'Love Match Atlanta' may have noticed a new feud among Atlanta matchmakers last week. Ming decides to organize a birthday party for herself, but when Shae finds she isn't invited, the love swiftly fades.

Matchmaking is a game of love and war for the stars of Bravo's new series 'Love Match Atlanta' If you haven't been watching, the show follows the personal, professional, and competitive affairs of Atlanta's top six matchmakers. Recent episodes of the new reality TV show have shown more tension among the matchmakers than the actual matchmaking, which makes for wonderful drama. Ming, the owner of Color Blind International, and Shae Primus, the CEO of Middle-Class Matchmaker, are currently feuding.

'Love Match Atlanta': Kelli and Tana debate on whether to take Shae as a client

Since the show's premiere, Ming and Shae have had a rough start. The duo, who supposedly met at Joseph Dixon's Mixer Event, left the party with a negative image of one another. Shae and Joseph's girlfriend and business partner, Paris, got into a furious disagreement during the Mixer Event. Ming did not take this well, blaming Shae for causing a ruckus at a social gathering. Now that she's throwing her own party, she made sure to leave Shae off the guest list to avoid any trouble.

Ming intended to turn her birthday party into a Mixer Event where matchmakers and single people looking for love could meet and strike a deal. Passing up on such a lucrative chance is a waste of time in her opinion. So she invites all of Atlanta's eligible bachelors and professional matchmakers in her business network. Shae's name, however, was missing from the guest list. Shae learned about the event and how she was being excluded from the party via her friend Lamont Scales White, widely known as "The Gay Dating Coach". Lamont informed Shae that Ming is being careful as a result of what transpired at Dixon's event. Shae was taken aback by Ming's disparaging remarks about her to Lamont, who is not only her friend but also someone Ming met via her. Lamont, on the other hand, proposes that Shae turn up, to which Shae replies that she will think about it.

Shae shows up at Ming's party

Everyone turns up on the day of the celebration, including Joseph and Paris, and also Lamont and his husband Art. All the matchmakers strive to network and connect, seeing the party as an excellent opportunity to meet new customers. When Joseph and Paris inquire about Shae, Lamont reminds everyone that she is the only one who was not invited. Ming responds, saying Shae erupts in fights in the middle of events, which she cannot associate with. Lamont believes that, while Ming has every right to avoid event drama and fights, she is actually intimidated by Shae. To make things simpler for herself, Lamont thinks she is putting all the blame for the argument between Paris and Shae on just Shae.

Shae, on the other hand, believes that being excluded from other matchmakers' gatherings does not reflect well on her as a professional matchmaker. It's also bad for her business, since she could lose out on all the eligible bachelors who could turn out to be potential clients. She also believes Ming has formed a false perception of her in her mind, which she wishes to erase. So she finally chooses to attend the party.

Ming, alongside Paris and Joseph, are disappointed to see Shae at the celebration. Joseph blames Lamont for inviting her to someone else's party. Tana from The Matchmaking Duo, on the other hand, was excited for Shae to attend the party but was also anxious as her matchmaker might not look nice. Similarly, Kelli, the co-owner of The Matchmaking Duo, believes that while it is daring for Shae to attend the event, especially given her lack of self-confidence, Shae must present herself properly because it is something a guy would want from their prospective mate.

Ming in the confessionals criticizes Shae for being a "Middle-class" matchmaker. When Ming confronts Shae about "the uninvite," Shae asks Ming whether she has maybe been misled when she decided to scapegoat her (hinting at Paris). She then reveals she wants to clarify her stand and clear any misunderstandings. Ming informs Shae the reason she didn't invite her is connected to the fight at Joseph's event. She blames Shae for the hubbub and accuses her of fighting at social events. When Shae tries to persuade Ming that she has never fought in her life, Ming mocks her, claiming she can't believe it was her first fight.

When Shae tries to explain to Ming that what happened between Paris and her was a misunderstanding, Ming refuses to bend. Shae admits in a confessional that she feels misunderstood in her business and circle, and that it is exhausting for her to always address this. During their conversation, Lamont interjects and urges Ming not to take sides since she invited Joseph and Paris (but not Shae). To put an end to this and start afresh, Shae suggests they both go out for lunch to get to know one other better.
