Shae asks Ming for teaafter gatecrashing Ming's birthday party in the previous episode of 'Love Match Atlanta,' in the hopes of starting afresh. Fans, on the other hand, view Ming's approach to the entire meeting to be exceedingly unsavory.

Shae decides to clear the air when Ming draws inferences about her, while also keeping her away from her Mixer's event. Despite Ming's decision to leave Shae off her guest list, the CEO of Middle Class Matchmaker arrives at the party in a beautiful yellow gown with a birthday gift for Ming. Even though it was done with good intentions, the party's host was displeased with this move. Shae expresses her wish to reconnect with Ming and reestablish their friendship during the celebration.

'Love Match Atlanta': Fans 'love' Shae's humility in honoring other matchmakers

No such friendship has developed between Shae and Ming since the show's premiere. There appeared to be little to no regard for each other's jobs, with Shae referring to Ming's matchmaking business as an "escort service" most of the time. She was upset and enraged when she learned of Ming's event. Despite her initial choice to respect Ming's decision and not attend her party, she attends when her buddy, Lamont, insists. At the celebration, the two run into Ming, who explains why she didn't invite Shae. She was concerned that Shae might stir a fuss at her event, as she had at the event of another matchmaker, Joseph Dixon.

Shae believes she has been misunderstood because of one event and tries to make amends by seeing Ming for a meal. When she eventually asks her out for "tea," their conversation does not go as planned. Things get more difficult than required because both are highly defensive on their respective grounds. Ming retains her image of Shae as someone who is "loud" and fights on social occasions. No matter how hard Shae tries to alter Ming's opinion about her by justifying her conduct at Joseph's party, Ming refuses to budge. Fans flocked to social media to criticize Ming for making little to no attempt to fix her disputes with Shae. Fans came to defend Shae and criticize Ming when blames the former for being "loud" at her party. One fan wrote: "She wasn’t loud at all though. It was other ppl greeting her… #lovematchatlanta".

Fans find that Ming was being snooty during the meeting. They tweeted: "Shae is giving humble, let’s network, Collab vibes and Ming is giving snooty #lovematchatlanta".

Some fans also believe Ming has no justified reason to be mad at Shae. They wrote: "What exactly does Ming has against Shae, her reason is jut bull. #Lovematchatlanta"

A fan believes that the reason Ming doesn't vibe with Shae is that she is "not pretentious." The tweet read: "Ming's problem with Shae is that Shae is honest and earnest. She is clear about who she is and about her lot in life. She is not pretentious. Everything that Ming is NOT. #LoveMatchAtlanta".

One fan event went onto call Ming, a hater for no reason. They tweeted: "So....To sum up this meeting between Shae & Ming, Ming is just a hater for no reason. I still don't understand what's this ONE SIDED BEEF. #LoveMatchAtlanta"

As Ming tries to look down upon Shae's middle-budget matchmaking business, fans were quick to humiliate her for her mispronunciation of the word "scone." One fan tweeted: "The “Middle budget people” know a Scone from a sconce though Ms Ming #lovematchatlanta"

Another fan wrote: "Sis trying to be Boujie and high class but can't pronounce scones is hilarious. Talking bout middle budget #lovematchatlanta"

Fans also call Ming's "beef" with Shae "very off putting." They tweeted: "Ming’s “beef” with Shae seems a lot like jealousy and her pretentiousness is very off putting. #LoveMatchAtlanta".
