'Link: Eat Love Kill' Ending Explained: Is Da-hyun alive? Is Gye-hoon still linked to Da-hyun?
The 2022 tvN K-drama 'Link: Eat Love Kill' (Also known as 'Link: Eat Love Die') has finally ended with 16 episodes. Right from the first episode, the show took over social media platforms due to the romantic chemistry between the two main leads - Yeo Jin-goo playing Eun Gye-hoon and Noh Da-hyun played by Moon Ga-young/Ka-young. The show is based on around the plot of two children, Gye-hoon and Da-hyun who grew up and started experiencing a Link between their feelings.
This Link was formed ever since Gye-hoon's fraternal twin sisters, Eun Gye-young and Da-hyun, were abducted by the same person. When Da-hyun was found, Gye-young was left behind, and Gye-hoon spent his life in guilt blaming himself for his sister being abducted. Over the course of the tvN show, the lead couple and their friends and family realize that the kidnapper is still living in the vicinity. With the goal of regaining her memories about the incident, Da-hyun sets off to find the man, while Gye-hoon seeks closure from the incident that destroyed his family.

Is Da-hyun alive? Is she still linked to Gye-hoon?
In the final episode of the K-drama, after being freed from the burden of Gye-young's abduction, Da-hyun helps Gye-hoon recover from the loss of his sister. Da-hyun remembers Gye-young's last words to him and narrates them to Gye-hoon as she is being taken to the hospital. Da-hyun is injured after she was attacked by Young-hoon who is afraid of the truth about him being the predator coming out. Just as he is about to strike Gye-hoon, the police arrive and arrest him in due time. Young-hwan discovers that Jung-ho had been missing which is when he rushes to find him attacked by Young-hoon.
Luckily for Young-hwan, Jung-ho is still alive. On the other hand, Da-hyun is under observation in the hospital and Bok-hee tells Gye-hoon that the doctors have told them that she would make it. She is unconscious for a while but when she finally regains consciousness she finds out that the link between her and Gye-hoon has been severed since she was attacked. Now, the two are separated from each other and are not able to feel each other's emotions anymore.
What happened to the kidnapper? Where is Gye-young buried?
The locals are shocked to learn that the fish shop owner, Young-hoon, was the kidnapper who had killed Gye-young as a child and abducted Da-hyun with her. They read news reports about him being questioned about the incident from 18 years ago as well as the recent murder of Kim Jin-geun. Meanwhile, Ha Eui-chan is finally able to reconcile with his son, Han Se-jin (alias Ji Won-tak). Won-tak (Se-jin) and Min-joo are still working with each other at the Jiwhadong Police department but they are seeing each other in private.
Gye-hoon finally confronts his mother and lets her know that his father has been missing for a while and informs her that it is quite possible that he is dead. Jung-ho keeps visiting Young-hoon to learn where Gye-young's skeletal remains lie and after pestering him for a while, the kidnapper finally reveals where he buried the young child after killing her. Young-hwan and Jung-ho team up to find the remains. The two policemen along with the other cops find the remains of a young child along with an adult male. They inform Gye-hoon who suspects that the remains were of his sister Gye-young and their father.
Do Gye-hoon and Da-hyun end up together?
After being discharged from the hospital, Da-hyun finally has some closure and is back to being her old self as she bickers with her mother. She misses Gye-hoon but now that they have broken up and his restaurant was closed, she can only reminisce the happy memories she had with him. One day as she returns from the library, she finds Gye-hoon waiting for her with an umbrella.
She tries to feign nonchalance upon meeting him but Gye-hoon proposes the idea of the two getting back together now that things were finally normal. He convinces Da-hyun after which the couple is finally together again. Gye-hoon comes back to the town and the restaurant has finally opened. Contrary to Gye-hoon's fear, the restaurant is flooded with customers so much so that there is a queue of customers waiting to get a seat.
