Bae Suzy starrer 'Anna' gets extended release in August after airing 6 episodes
A lot of attention was being paid to Bae Suzy's return as an actress with 'Anna' after she made heads turn with her recent solo single, 'Satellite'. Suzy was last seen in the tvN drama, 'Start Up', which was released in 2020. After taking a short break from acting, fans lost their calm when it was reported that Suzy was going to make a comeback as an actress. The K-drama, 'Anna', starring Bae Suzy has finally released all six of its episodes but it seems like there still is more to the story.
'Anna' is a female-oriented K-drama with Suzy in the lead role where she plays the titular character Anna who starts living a completely different life after she starts her life with a lie. Trying to catch up on one of her initial lies, Lee Yumi (played by Suzy) ends up living someone else’s life. Deceiving her friends, family, as well as her husband, Yumi's struggle is to live in fear. The show was well-received by K-drama fans globally and now after it has finally released all six of its episodes, the makers of 'Anna' reveal that there is more to come from the show.

Bae Suzy's 'Anna' gets an extended release in August
The show was initially supposed to be released in eight parts but it was reported that after the final edit of 'Anna', the Coupang Play show was released in six episodes. The final two episodes of the show were released on July 8 and ahead of the release of the last episode, 'Anna' has already been well-received by viewers.
It has now been reported that since the show failed to capture more details about the story of the other main characters on 'Anna', an extended version of the show will be released in August of 2022 through Coupang Play. The show presented unpredictable material with unexpected story development which shows the journey of Yumi, a girl who goes through multi-layered changes starting from her teens to her 20s up to her late 30s. As the character develops fans were able to see Suzy go from showing delicate to dense emotional acting.

The show also has other characters like Ji-hoon, Anna's husband, Ji-won, Anna's senior whom she trusts, and Hyun-joo, the real Anna who lives her life holding herself above everyone.
