Who is Owen Eckhardt?
Oklahoma-based Eckhardt is an aspiring country and folk musician. The young artist is a Vert major at Okholoma state university and has been dreaming of being on 'American Idol' since he was a child. Eckhardt got his first puppy when he was around four years old and from that day on he knew he wanted to be a vet. He is a fan of country music and draws his inspiration from artists like Zach Bryan as he also belongs to a small town and shot to fame in a very short time. He also admires Chris Stapleton and has been listening to his music for a few years now.
Eckhardt has released two singles on Spotify titled, 'Broken Memories' and 'Nashville'. After reportedly trying four or five times, Eckhardt finally succeeded to score a live audition on 'American Idol'. The rising singer has revealed in an interview that music is his number one passion and though he finds it tough to choose between his dream of being a Vet or pursuing a career in music, he will choose 'American idol' any day. Later the young artist added, "I will probably be happy either way."

'American Idol' Season 21 will feature a rising county and folk artist Eckhardt in the upcoming auditions.
