The biggest K-pop group BTS has officially announced their hiatus to focus on their solo careers. While Suga and V make a buzz about their upcoming album debuts, Jimin is not far off. The K-pop sensation gave an insight into what he wants to portray from the art of music on Weverse, “I just think I can show something a little more raw about me. That might include a more mature side, too, but what I’m really interested in is showing something closer to my real, personal rawness directly in a format like music or music videos. By doing so, I think maybe I can show something I never have before”

The significance of 'ID: Chaos' photo folio

Big Hit Music released a short teaser called 'ID: Chaos' that highlights a section from Jimin's upcoming photo folio. The video is soaked in monotone colors while Park Jimin talks about rawness and chaos as the material of his folio concept. The almost two minute-long clip also shows off a neck tattoo on the BTS vocalist which reads, 'tailor of chaos'. As the recording progresses, an Apollo statue and temporary tattoos with Artemis' name come to view.

In the video, Jimin talks about wearing white instead of black which could be because Artemis is a lunar goddess in Greek mythology. Jimin has embraced both light and darkness in the video. Moreover, the two Greek gods Artemis and Apollo represent masculinity and feminity. This could signify the vocalist tackling his dual sensuality. The mood sampler finds the work of 'Kintsugi' (the Japanese art of mending things) on the Greek statues as well. This way the singer accepts the brokenness within himself.
