Rookie rock band Xdinary Heroes is following the footsteps of their seniors Day6 and making a name for themselves with their debut. The group made its debut on December 6 with their single album, ‘Happy Death Day’, which was released along with the music video. Now, nine days after the release, the single has entered a Billboard songs sales chart.

Xdinary Heroes debuted as a rock band under JYP Entertainment and since the announcement of their debut, the members of the group have been attracting a lot of attention from fans, all thanks to their very ordinary stories through their extraordinary music. It seems like the members of Xdinary Heroes are up for making history as they debuted on Billboard’s ‘World Digital Song Sales’ chart only days after their debut which is unusual for a rock band.

Xdinary Heroes enter Billboard Chart

According to the announcement from Billboard on December 14, ‘Happy Death Day’ from JYPE’s Xdinary Heroes entered their ‘World Digital Songs’ chart at Number 12. The song is the debut single released from the group and has become the group’s first-ever single to enter the chart.

The rookie group made their debut on the Billboard chart just over a week after the release of their first single album. The charting is particularly special for the group as they have entered the Billboard chart, one of the most internationally acclaimed charts so early on in their career.



 

Xdinary Heroes have a successful debut

The group has also been making a name for themselves all thanks to their performance of ‘Happy Death Day’ at various music shows like KBS 2TV's ‘Music Bank’, MBC’s ‘Show Champion’ and SBS’ ‘Inkigayo’ over the last few days since their debut. The music video for ‘Happy Death Day’ has been a hit with fans, surpassing 6 million views on YouTube.

‘Happy Death Day’ is a song written and composed by members Jungsoo and Gaon. The story of the single depicts a situation where the members are forced to face the cold truth on the happiest and most celebrated day of their lives.



 

The unusual worldview of Xdinary Heroes is stimulating a new sensibility for the current generation where the members live by the slogan, “We are all heroes.” The song tells fans the story of heroes hidden in the ordinary - conveying a message that "anyone can become a hero."
