The six-member boy group ONF released their sixth mini-album, ‘Goosebumps’ on December 3 which proved to be a bittersweet moment for the group's dedicated fanbase. Fuses (ONF fans) cherished the comeback and every single moment with the boys, who are making their last album before enlistment even more meaningful for fans.

Back in November 2021, ONF members announced that the five Korean members of the group had made the difficult decision to enlist as a group as none of them could stand leaving the group individually and taking longer to be back to perform in front of fans. The two leaders of the group wrote in their personal notes to fans how the min-album, ‘Goosebumps’ will be their last comeback for a while.

ONF's first concert since debut

The members of ONF also announced their first in-person four-day concert where the six boys performed in front of Fuses. It is their final event before their mandatory enlistment period begins. The four-day concert started on December 9 and went on upto December 12. This is the group’s first-ever concert event since the boys made their debut back in 2017. The final two days of the concert were streamed online for international fans of the group.

The concert powerfully narrated the journey of the boy group where the members began each day of the show with a performance of all their hit songs right from their debut single, ‘Lights On’ and ‘On/Off’ leading on to their most recent single, ‘Goosebumps’. The members ended their concert with a special moment where they said to their fans, “Fuses have always been a part of all our happy moments throughout our journey so far. Thank you for making us feel like we were being loved once again during this concert.”

ONF share emotional message with Fuses

Not only that, but the members also talked to fans about their impending enlistment as they said, “We made plans to enlist and tried our best to communicate with fans to the best of our ability over the last few months. We will cherish the memories of 2021 and come back healthy and well in 2023 when we will meet fans after our enlistment.”

ONF members added, “On the day we meet Fuses again, we will give you greater happiness for staying with us so, in the meantime, I hope that we will find a vessel to hold our happiness in.” The members continued, “No matter how big the vessel becomes, we will fill it all with memories and will come back when we grow up well. We think that the story of ONF was written with Fuse. We made this story together, so I want to finish it together,” the members promised fans ahead of their mandatory enlistment.

The five Korean members of ONF namely the two leaders of the group, Hyojin, J-US, as well as members E-tion, Wyatt, and MK will enlist together at the end of 2021 — the only group member who won't be joining them is U, who is Japanese. According to South Korean law, “All able-bodied Korean males between the age of 18-28 (updated from 28 to 30 for K-pop idols in 2020) are required to serve in the country's military for about two years (18 months in total) while the Korean members of ONF range from ages 26 to 27 years old.
